Event Cancelled ❗️ National XC Relay Championships

Tomorrow’s Lindsays National XC Relay Championships in Cumbernauld (Saturday 24 October) have been cancelled on safety grounds.

The decision was made by Scottish Athletics staff and event officials, following a review of the latest forecast and conditions at the venue, and considering the weather warning for wind in the area from 12pm.

The safety of everyone involved in our events is our first priority. This was not an easy decision, and we know how disappointing it will be for the athletes, coaches, clubs, officials and volunteers who have put so much into preparing for the day.

We are looking at options for the event and will share an update as soon as we have more information.

The 51st Fife AC AGM will be held online on Wednesday 21st October from 7pm. A zoom link will be posted here a few days before. However, it would be very helpful if you could let us know in advance if you plan to attend and your name and zoom user name please so that a record of those attending can be accurately kept.

An agenda will be published here a week before the meeting. If any club member wishes to nominate themselves to the board, they should contact the Secretary ([email protected]) no less than one week before the AGM.

The draft accounts will be available in the members-only section.

We look forward to seeing you on the 21st!

The last race of the Club's Midweek Series, the Balmullo Trail Race, took place last night. There was a good turnout largely bolstered by runners from across the water and here is the link to a set of images taken on the course.
