Kuluna Yoga
Heartfelt yoga classes and event, supporting you in your yoga. Natural, Connected, Supportive

Seriously though, across every industry, anyone who is running classes, workshops, retreats or any kind of event sleeps easier when you book in advance.
In the post covid era I have noticed people become much more last minute with their planning.
I think there was such a long time where we had so little freedom that we don't want to miss out on anything now. So this FOMO leads people to wait to the last minute to commit to anything in case something better comes along.
I understand this mindset. I also see it robbing you of experiences and enjoyment.
I see fewer folk committing to a regular practice and I see the impact of that on your relationship with yourself.
I see events that you want to go to being forced to cancel due to low numbers before you got round to booking.
I see the empty rooms.
I see the disheartened hosts
I see talented and magical people offering fewer experiences because it's too hard.
I see the disappointment when you didn't book when you first heard and then you forgot about it and then you hear how amazing it was later.
I see the people constantly wondering if there is something better on offer either committing to less or being less present.
Sometimes you have to decide where you are investing your time, your money, your energy and then commit to it. Be fully present. Be content in your choice. Be consistent.
This is living Yoga.

Embrace the shifting of the seasons
As the long golden evenings of late summer shift into the warm hues of autumn afternoons this practice is a magical transition welcoming in the energy of autumn.
Summer was fire and autumn is earth.
Summer was extroversion and autumn begins the journey inwards.
Summer was ecstatic and autumn is grounding.
During this two hour workshop we honour the passing of summer. Welcome in the wisdom of autumn.
Through sharing wisdoms from Celtic practices and threading these themes through connected Asana (physical) yoga, pranayama (breathwork) and meditation. Beginning our movement with the warm flows of summer. Slowing down into the releases of autumn.
Connecting to the wisdom of two ancient cultures. The yogic wisdom teaches us connection and the Celtic wisdom applies it to this land.
This is an all levels practice welcoming yogis, witches, connection seekers of all abilities.
If you have questions or accessibility needs please reach out to ask so we can plan together the support you deserve.
Investment for this practice is sliding scale Β£20-30
I am looking forward to sharing this moment of balance with you.

Welcome to August and Ardha Chandrasana!
This elegant balance will be our focus Asana (posture) for the month.
Ardha Chandrasana is strong but requires steadiness.
It's an asymmetrical shape that helps us hone balance between powerful Yang and calming Yin energy in both body and mind.
This picture doesn't capture my most aesthetically "perfect" attempt but it was taken when I was in La Valle de La Luna (the valley of the moon) in La Paz. So it's still one of my favourite memories.
We'll explore Ardha Chandrasana physically over August as well as looking into the philosophy behind the posture, the deity it's named for. And myths about the moon.
Remember I've created space for us to reflect on our experiences with the postures in our WhatsApp community. Send me a DM if you'd like to join.
See you on the mat!

Restorative Yoga 8th of August!
Our next blissful restorative session is up on the booking system now.
There are only 8 spots in this deeply relaxing practice. So book soon.
This restorative practice is the softest and gentlest approach to physical practice. An opportunity to let your body truly melt, naturally the mind and spirit follow suit.
I pair each posture with an offering of therapeutic touch, which feels like a gentle assisted stretch or massage like touch. The therapeutic approach aids our bodies in finding the gentle release and deep relaxation this practice offers.
This practice is open to all people of all abilities. No previous experience required.
It's especially beneficial to folk feeling run down or overwhelmed. Most yogis report leaving feeling more relaxed than they have in years and sleeping better that night!
Investment is on a sliding scale Β£20-30pp
