At the National Trust for Scotland’s Kingarrock Hickory Golf Course, you'll play with original hickory clubs from the 1900s and softer, rubber-wound balls on a 9 hole course in a serene setting, making the most of fine Scottish views and a rich natural environment

Golf ball or Mushroom❓🍄🟫🏌️
This maybe a question you’ll have to ask yourself here at Kingarrock! As we transition into autumn, more mushrooms will become visible as they begin to release their spores.
This mushroom is known as a puffball and we think has a striking resemblence to a golf ball.
Keep an eye out to see what other species of mushrooms you see when you are on and around the course.🕵️♂️🍄🍄🟫

From one of the U.S.A’s oldest club manufacturers, Crawford McGregor & Canby Co., the Bakspin Mashie was outlawed in early 1920’s for its large grooves working too effectively and providing an unfair advantage in competition.
This one survived to make it to in the golf cottage at Kingarrock as one of our most unique clubs.
