Great to meet Kayleigh and Wendy about using HWB for - The Girl Code, a Cwmbran-based community bringing women together through social events, activities and shared experiences, with a strong emphasis on friendship, connection and creating a welcoming environment for women who may attend alone. Its simple ethos is summed up in the phrase “Come solo, leave with friends.”

It was a pleasure to work alongside our partners in the local authority and health board to host this fantastic event!

Professionals from across health, local authority and third sector organisations came together yesterday (10 September) for the Torfaen Children's Health & Wellbeing Event 2026 at Woodland Road Community Hwb, Cwmbran. The event was organised by the Torfaen Neighbourhood Care Network (NCN) and brought together partners committed to improving outcomes for children, young people and families across the region

Something a little different for a Sunday evening…

The HWB Coffee Bar is starting to come together nicely, and we’re getting closer to opening the doors.

Good coffee, cakes, iced drinks and a relaxed place to sit, catch up and enjoy the space at Woodland Road.

Plenty more to show you over the next few weeks.

Coming soon!

We will like to prioritise new businesses and especially businesses that provide important services to this local community.

We are looking for long term opportunities and are not renting by the day or by the hour.
