🏉 WEEKEND ROUND-UP 🏉

1XV travelled to Hawick Quins in the first league game of the season. A very physical game for the guys, and although they came away with a loss, there were plenty of positives to take away too

Final score 57-7

Our ladies made the shorter journey through to Livingston for their first league game. Some excellent rugby on display but as always Livi provided a very challenging game and the ladies came away with a 99-5 loss

Sunday our Minis welcomed Lasswade to Kings Park, a joy to see all P1-P7s with great numbers, and Little Ruggers having a ball

For our youths, our U18 girls were off to Strathendrick and U14 girls Dunbar. Our U13 boys had a switch of dates to head to Lasswade early and our U16 boys travelled to Currie for R1 of thr Youth Cup

Was if the best score wise, not at all but the positives of this weekend when grassroots rugby is very unpredictable are a strong 10/10

16 of our 1XV fielded through our youth system, ladies rugby going from strength to strength, youth boys and girls with 5 strong teams out (3 teams without game time), Minis fielding each age group along with our

Saturday our U16 and U18 Dalkeith Rugby - Youth Team start their Youth cup campaigns

Sunday Little Ruggers at Dalkeith RFC and Dalkeith Mini Rugby Team are at King's Park, with our minis welcoming Lasswade

In the afternoon our U18 Dalkeith RFC Girls Rugby head to Strathendrick to continue their league campaign
