After a successful summer push, the league has plenty of new teams assembled for the 2026-2027 snooker season, however one of the already established teams requires a couple of players to ensure they have enough players for the league campaign.

If there are any unattached players out there who can play every fortnight on a Wednesday, or that could sign up and help a team when required please drop the page a message of interest or contact our league chairman on 07951442730 and he will pass your details onto the relevant captain.

We’re delighted to welcome new teams and returning teams as we begin another fantastic year of competitive, friendly snooker across the district.

This season is officially our biggest yet, with two divisions confirmed and our popular handicapped format ensuring players of all levels can compete, improve, and enjoy the league. More fixtures, more local derbies, more chances for teams to shine.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning to familiar faces and rivalries, we’re excited to have you all on board for another brilliant season of Wednesday‑night snooker.

After a successful summer push the Darlington and District Snooker League are very pleased to announce that the league will go to two divisions for the 2026-2027 season 🎱🏆

The league is actively looking to create new partnerships with local businesses within the area and would love to hear from any local businesses who may be interested in our various sponsorship packages 🤝

If our supporters could share and tag anyone who may be interested in sponsorship the league would be greatly appreciated.

Darlington and District snooker league is back after a short summer break we are now working behind the scenes to put everything in place for the 2026-2027 season.

After a successful past few seasons and growth of our league we are looking at a possibility of two divisions, we require new players, groups of players and full teams to sign up for the new season which is aimed to begin in September.

🎱 Community Engagement 🎱

The league in previous times have worked closely with local charities and supported great causes like, Darlington Memorial Hospital, Cancer Research UK and St Teresa’s Hospice.

In our most recent community action we met up with a young Pool and Snooker Player Jack who didn’t have a cue to play with, so our league chairman Harry has kindly gone out of his way to provide Jack with a brand new playing cue that he can use to keep playing the sport he loves with a cue that suits his height, it’s great to see youngsters like Jack so enthusiastic about cue sports.

Darlington has seen a massive growth in cue sports in the last three months thanks to the opening of Bobby’s this is where Jack works his socks off to become the next star player.

In 2026/2027 Darlington Snooker League and Bobbys have big plans and have already had talks on how we can work closely together to offer as much opportunity to players of all ages in the snooker and pool community. So please follow both pages to keep a close eye on what’s to come in 2026/2027.
