Viking Ladies 53 - 35 Biddick Titans

We played Biddick Titans last night and showcased some great team basketball.

A slow start but Em brought the energy, Tashinga brought the points and Jenny brought her confidence.

Everyone played their part though which secured a comfortable win against a young, quickly improving Titans squad.

⚡️ KELLY — BACK IN BUSINESS 🏀💙

After two seasons away, one of the original OGs is back — and we couldn’t be happier to have her back in the fold! 👀

⚡️ QUICK
🏃‍♀️ FAST BREAK SPECIALIST
💙 FULL OF ENERGY

Kelly is keen to get straight back into the action, and if you see her flying down the court on a fast break… WATCH HER! 👀💨

With one of our OGs back where she belongs, we’re looking forward to seeing that speed, energy and familiar Vikings spirit back on court.

Welcome back, Kelly! We’ve missed you! ⚔️💙🏀

⚡️ BRIT — ROOKIE OF THE YEAR! 🏀💙

After an incredible debut season, Brit is back with the Vikings — and we couldn’t be more excited to see her back on court! 👀

🏆 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
⚡️ QUICK LEARNER
💪 TOUGH AS THEY COME

Brit picked up the game quickly and wasn’t afraid to throw herself into the action. Tough, determined and never one to back down, she made a huge impression in her first year.

She’s been away for the summer, but we’ve definitely missed her — and we’re looking forward to seeing that energy, determination and fearless attitude back on the court! 💙

Quick. Tough. Fearless. And always ready to learn.

Welcome back, Brit! ⚔️💙🏀

The ladies had a tough second game in the league as they travelled to Newcastle on Wednesday evening to face new team Newcastle Swift with limited numbers.

Swift got off to a really strong start in the first 30-7 but after this the team relaxed and got the ball moving. Although it looks like a heavy defeat, the ladies only had 7 players and swift had a full squad of 12.

The ladies continue to gel with four new faces added in the summer, lots of positives to take from the game and the team will go again in the next game 💜🏀

⚔️ VIC — THE BLOCKING MACHINE! 🏀💙

Tall. Athletic. And despite only having one year of basketball under her belt, Vic has a natural understanding of the game that makes you wonder if she’s secretly been playing for years! 👀

🧱 BLOCKING MACHINE
👑 REBOUND QUEEN
🎯 AND NOT A BAD SHOT EITHER!

She brings height, athleticism and serious presence to the court — and we’re excited to see what she can do this season!

Off the court, Vic is a doctor, but don’t let that intimidate you… she’s also super nice, friendly and full of enthusiasm! 🩺😊

Smart, athletic, enthusiastic and already making her mark.

Welcome to the Vikings, Vic! ⚔️💙🏀

⚔️ TAM — STRONG, SASSY & SWEET! 🏀💙

Tam is the definition of strong on court, soft-spoken off it. 💪😇

A versatile swing-woman who brings the muscle, the hustle and plenty of attitude to the court. She’s the kind of player you definitely want on your side — because when Tam’s got your back, you know she’s got your back! 🔥

Tam brings the energy, she's loud despite having the cutest, softest voice and a force on defence! 💪

Off the court? She’s encouraging, welcoming and an excellent hostess — basically the perfect teammate!

Strong. Supportive. Sassy. Soft-spoken.

We’ll take Tam on our team any day! ⚔️💙

⚔️ **EMMA — THE ORIGINAL OG!** 🏀💙

Back for another season, and honestly… what would the Vikings be without her?

Emma is one of our original OGs — hard-working, dependable and a seriously calm set of hands when things get chaotic on court. She quietly gets the job done, every single time.

But it’s not just what Emma brings to the court. She’s genuinely one of the best people you’ll ever meet, the kind of teammate everyone wants in their corner and every team needs in their squad. 🥰

Reliable. Hard-working. Unflappable. Proper Viking. ⚔️

We’re so glad to have our OG back for another season! 💙🏀
