📝 Sunday Review ⚽️
Mowden FC travelled to Ferryhill for their first game as a team. The opponents were a very strong Ferryhill Celtic, who were playing in the back of a midweek win against Langley Park FC
Mowden were on the wrong end of a 4-0 scoreline however showed glimpses of good times to come with spells of pressure in the game.
All in all a very good first game as a very you do club and good times are certainly ahead.

Up the Mowden 💙
Fantastic visit to see Rachel and Simon at the Mowden this morning. To thank them in person for all that they did for our community during lockdown, serving over 10,000 meals.
We discussed the packages of support that have helped including the bounce back grant from Ben Houchen - Tees Valley Mayor.
I’m looking forward to popping back soon for a meal now that they are open.
As Rishi Sunak said, when this is over we should look back at this time and remember the acts of kindness that people did. Simon and Rachel can rightly be remembered for what they and their family have done in our community.
