Fresh off the back of several of our ladies taking on the Darlington Running Festival on Sunday, Tuesday night's session was always going to be a tough one... and Coach Ando takes no prisoners.

With the school summer holidays in full swing, we were missing a few familiar faces who are off enjoying a well-earned break. But there was plenty to celebrate as we welcomed back a much-missed returning teammate after a short break away, and also welcomed a brand-new player to the Darlo Ladies family. We love seeing the squad continue to grow!

The weather couldn't quite make its mind up. We battled through warm, humid conditions during some punishing fitness work before the skies finally opened during our game of touch at the end. What started as a tropical downpour quickly turned the pitch into a slip-and-slide! 🌧️😂

Let's just say those who opted for trainers instead of boots may have questioned their life choices by the final whistle... 👟💦

After weeks of heatwaves, we never thought we'd hear ourselves say it... but the rain was actually quite welcome! ☀️➡️🌧️

Another brilliant session in the bank, plenty of laughs, lots of hard work, and we're excited to see what the next few weeks bring.

🏃‍♀️💪 Some of our ladies were out in force today at the Darlington Running Festival, taking on the Darlington 10K!

We're so proud of every single one of you for crossing that finish line. Your determination, smiles, and team spirit were amazing to see.

A huge well done to everyone who took part—it was a fantastic event... although the weather clearly thought we were training for a run through the Sahara! 🌞🥵 There was plenty of sweat, a few red faces, and enough perspiration to refill a paddling pool, but everyone kept going and smashed it!

Congratulations, ladies—you've done yourselves proud! (and earned those drinks!)👏🎉

🏉Pre-season rugby is in full swing for our U10 and U12 girls! 🏉

This week we've been revisiting the rugby basics, with plenty of skills and games mixed in with some "hidden" fitness—at least according to Coach Bill! Judging by the red faces at the end of the session, it wasn't quite as hidden as he claimed! 😅

The girls are working hard, having fun, and building confidence every week. The effort they're putting in now will pay off when the season gets underway! 💪
