When is the best time to practice the important skills?

A few of the trustees and close supporters are out in the Alps enjoying what's left of the snow. We're all excited for the heavy snow forecast for next week, and that means that NOW is the time to practice the important skills. We've been out doing some avalanche transceiver searches, snow anchors and crevasse rescue systems.

Get the practice in BEFORE you need it so it's second nature if you ever need it in anger.
