Matt Morris Appointed Wales 6-a-Side Manager 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Matt Morris as Wales 6-a-Side Manager.

Matt brings a wealth of small-sided football experience to the role, having represented Wales at both 6-a-side and futsal level during his playing career.

His knowledge of the small-sided game and experience representing his country make him an exciting appointment as Wales looks towards its next chapter.

Matt Morris said:

“It’s a huge honour to be appointed Wales manager. Having had the privilege of representing Wales as a player in both 6-a-side football and futsal, I know exactly what it means to pull on the shirt. I’m really excited about the opportunity to build a strong squad and see what we can achieve together.”

GBMFU Vice President Graham Knight said:

“Mark Staines and I are delighted to have Matt on board. We wanted someone who understands small-sided football, understands what it means to represent Wales and has the experience and ambition to take the national side forward. Matt ticks all of those boxes and we’re really looking forward to working with him.”
