WHAT A GAME 🏏

Last weekend we went down to Upchurch Cricket Club to play against their 3rds. We lost the toss (mainly due to skipper being late) and bowled first. Again a strong bowling performance and fielding display to keep them down to 161 on a wicket that RUNS could have been scored. We then went into bat and one of the best collapses admin has seen with us being 13/4 just over 3 overs. Then Zac comes in a scores 94 not out to guide the team to victory. Also big shout outs to Stumpy and Dean who also put some well earned runs and putting together some top partnerships. Obviously Zac got big pat for the biggest score from a batsman this year (should have 💩 bag for not getting a ton). Then 💩 bag goes to 4 lads for all getting ducks. What a game, what a team. Top win at the weekend against Horton Kirby 3s. It was a worrying start with ducks for both the openers Ted and Arun but was brought back on track with great knocks from Jim and Jay. Top work from all bowlers and some top notch fielding again to keep them down to just 100.

Big Pat goes to Zac for an amazing spell going 3-8 and keeping it tight. 💩Bag does go to Ted for a duck against his old team WHILE wearing an Horton Kirby cap.

LAST 2 RESULTS

HOWZATT, a couple of weeks ago we played Gravesend 6 and we lost by 47 runs but that could have also been 16, 80 or even won but I'm sure the scorer didn't miss any runs. Rambo with a great spell and getting big pat for the day and Jordan like normal getting 💩bag. Top class from Louis and Tom for playing their first game for the club Louis taking a catch and getting some runs also Tom being lighting in the field.

Last weekend we played little winning by 5 runs. What a great game with the youngsters coming in and playing very well with bat, ball and in the field. Benty having a top game with 2 wickets and 38 with the bat which got him big pat but in a turn of events also got 💩bag for calling the other half and telling them that he got big pat before we finished out end of team chat.

Some TOP TOP play the last couple of weeks and we hope to continue this for the rest of the season. COME ON THE CRICKET 🏏

Finally some cricket is being played and we are with this team today. Big thanks to Louis and Tom who are making their debut this week and expecting some MEGA runs. Teddy taking the gloves this week and hopefully not many byes. GO ON THE CRICKET

TOUR 2026

What a top weekend up in St Alban's. Runs, wickets, catches, fours, sixes, wides, no balls, drops, shots, beers, a curry and one dead ball (thanks Ross).

Thanks to Fat Sad Dad's with pads for our first game on Saturday where we won by 6 wickets and then on Sunday we play

2 on the bounce as we head into tour next weekend. Some top fielding again with Jay stopping a certain 4 and definitely not dropping a catch... Zac top class with the ball and bat also Jim top class with the bat again which gets them shared big pat. Jay takes the honour of having 💩bag with stopping that 4 and a golden 🦆. Also have Ted letting you know the weather at the end. GO ON THE CRICKET

These are the upcoming May fixtures and time for us to get back to winning ways. We also have our tour at the end of the month with us going to St Alban's to play some of our best cricket (hopefully)

Nets every Wednesday from 5:45 at Hesketh Park. All levels welcome 🏏

Abit late but Stone 1s lost to Dartford 4ths on Saturday. Good showing from bad back Sanderson who got big pat and social media guru Ted getting 💩bag for a great dropped catch and both awards being presented but one of the best square leg umpires the club has ever seen. Onto next week to get back to winning ways and to have another good laugh

First game and it was a loss BUT we have a hat trick from Walkie which was a big highlight and got him Big Pat and we won't talk about the 4 dropped catches... Good game and top lads from and look forward to later on in the season. Onto next week against Dartford
