It’s been a bit fresh lately, but we’ve got just the thing to warm you up.🔥

Launch Night at the club. This Friday, 25 September. ⛵️

From 5pm, Dave Azam from Ellis Wines unveils our autumn wine list. Ellis Wines have been in the trade since 1822, and Dave has been with them for over two decades, so we’re in very good hands. 🍷

The new autumn menu lands too. Think vegetable and Devon ale pie with triple cooked chips and charred garlic butter greens, plus a smoked haddock Scotch egg. Come hungry. 😋

Live jazz from the Sarah Harris Quartet. Soulful, stylish, and considerably more talented than the rest of us. 🎶

Plot a course for Kingswear. We’ll save you a berth. 🚩

What’s cooking at RDYC this weekend? 🔥🚩

Friday sundowners, from 5pm. Terrace menu’s out (Trade Wind and Crab, Lemon & Chilli pizzas, plus the chips that are worth the wait), weather permitting.
If the wind has other ideas, we’ll move inside for the full Harbour Bar & Grill menu, scallops and fish and chips included. Either way, serving till it’s too dark to find your glass.

Saturday, Squib Regatta day, from 4pm. Terrace menu again, weather permitting. Too blowy and it’s BBQ plus bar snacks instead (padron peppers, mackerel pâté, chips with all three sauces). Serving till dark.

Sunshine: no promises.
Delicious: always.
Location: the best.

Autumn’s landed at RDYC. 🍁

New wine list, new menu, same view.

On Friday the 25th of September from 5pm onwards, Dave Azam from Ellis Wines talks us through the new list, then the kitchen takes over from 6pm. 🍷🍽️

A taste worth the wait. Come and experience it for yourself.

Squib Open Day & Regatta: Date for the diary. 🗓

Saturday 19 September, the RDYC Squib fleet throws open its boats and its doors. 🚩

11am–1pm: hop aboard with an experienced helm and have a go. No boat, no experience required. Open to anyone 16 and over. ⛵️

2pm: eight Squibs go head to head in a river race. An hour of proper racing, right in front of the club. 🏆

4pm: everyone’s back ashore for food, drinks, and the retelling of who really won. 😉

Squibs are two-person keelboats, easy to sail, easier to love, and a genuinely affordable way to experience the thrill of racing.

Parents are welcome to come along and give it a go too, and if it sparks a plan to buy a boat with your kids, even better.

Please note we’re unable to take under-16s out on the water. ⛵️

Big breeze, bigger kites, spray flying, boats charging through Start Bay, crews working flat out and a dolphin joining the fleet for good measure. Then came fireworks over the Dart and enough questionable dancing to give the sailing club a whole new set of sea legs. Dartmouth Sailing Week, you were epic!

Still riding the Regatta high? So are we.

Keep it going this Friday at our Sundowner Evening. The forecast is looking more foulies than flip-flops, but we’re still very much on.

Our resident DJ will be playing from 5pm to 9pm, with food available from our Harbour Bar menu.

Sundowner Hour runs from 5pm to 6pm:

Pharaoh & The Beats absolutely nailed it last night. 🎤

Huge vocals, a cracking set and a packed club singing and dancing from start to finish.

All hands on deck… except during the Cornflake Challenge, when hands are strictly forbidden and dignity is the first thing overboard. 🤣
