Steve christening the new carpet between the courts.

Thank you to the helpers this am. Taking time out of your valuable Saturday to take the old carpet up.

Hoping to find the 1980 time capsule with Dunlop Maxply racket and Green Flash pumps with pastel Yellow Dot kit.

We’re making a start on the tiles tomorrow, apologies for the slight mess and inconvenience whilst it is being done.

A reminder that the new courts times and fees have now come into effect.

Courts remain free for Double Yellow and U19 members, but for all others the fee for your ‘half’ will be £5 for 45 minutes and £3.50 for 30. Off-peak fees slightly less.

In line with this modest increase (our first for 4 years), the cost of club nights, women’s training and Squash Fit will change to £5 per session (Double Yellow and U19’s remain free).

Can I also remind those of you playing with a non-member that a guest fee of £5 applies on top of the whole court fee. To access this, book the court in your name and select ‘Guest’ as your opponent. When you fob the lights on, regardless of your membership type, you will be charged for the guest half of the court fee plus £5.

Of course any questions, please ask a committee member.

Please note that the new court booking times and prices start from Monday 3rd.

Court 1 is available now in 30 minute sessions so you can also book to play for an hour.

Courts 2-5 are now 45 minute sessions.

Prices have increased slightly for all sessions - all membership types will continue to work the same way with charging.

Hopefully this change will increase court availability by allowing players to have enough time to complete their games without needing to (always) book two consecutive sessions.
