Our Leadership Team

West Northants Pickleball CIC is guided by the expertise and dedication of our three directors:

Kate Vincent: As CEO, Kate provides strategic vision and direction, drawing on her experience in business and psychology. She is passionate about creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all players. Barry Dow: As Exectuive Director, Barry is responsible for the operational sustainability of WNP. Gary Birch: As Non-Operational Director Gary leads the way in customer communication using his expertise from Daventry Blinds Ltd. We work collaboratively to ensure the success and growth of West Northants Pickleball CIC.

D***s in a pickle? One of our Skills & Drills sessions might help.

Hear from one of our players:
"It was great having a particular focus and getting the time to actually work on developing skill. We focused on dinking during this session and even after a session I noticed things like paddle placement and ready position had already improved. Andy was knowledgeable, engaging and took the time to explain any questions people had and gave constructive feedback where necessary."

New school term means junior pickleball sessions are live again! Wednesdays at the Courtyard for 8–16 year olds:

Junior Academy 4:15–5:00pm — a fun, supportive introduction to learn the game and build confidence on court.
Junior Matchplay 5:00–5:50pm — organised games for juniors who prefer competitive play. Same booking process as other sessions.

"Our coaching session at the Court Yard was 10/10! We specified we wanted to focus on serving and the session really helped to perfect our technique and gave us loads of helpful takeaways. Andy even followed up with notes which was really helpful. If you’ve been playing a bit of social pickle and want to gain a bit more confidence I’d highly recommend booking a coaching session. Really useful, really fun, overall just a great evening".

Our new WNP website is now live!

The new website has been hand-coded from scratch for West Northamptonshire Pickleball, so we’ve built it around the way our club actually works.

You’ll now find:
• More flexibility with bookings
• Cancellations and rescheduling up to 6 hours before sessions
• DUPR and Club Matchplay bookings open until 3 hours before
• Members able to book most other sessions right up until they start, subject to availability
• More payment options including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Revolut Pay, Pay by Bank App and card
• A clearer weekly timetable
• More ways to play, including Team League, Rotating Partner Round Robins and Fixed Partner events

And there’s plenty more still being developed. For anything taking place in August, continue to use the existing booking system. The new site is for September onwards.

We’re really excited about what this will allow us to do next.

We’re thrilled to welcome the very talented pickleball coach Josh Dye to West Northants Pickleball on Sunday 6th September at our Courtyard venue in Weedon Depot.

Josh brings more than 12 years of coaching experience across racket sports, having worked with players from grassroots level through to national competition. A former British Premier League table tennis player and international pickleball medallist, Josh combines high-level playing experience with an experienced and adaptable coaching approach.

What a great day we’ve had at The Daventry Emergency Services Fun Day.

It was great to introduce Pickleball to so many new people, we are always grateful to see new people fall in love with the sport in-front of our eyes.

For anyone still not knowing what Pickleball is we have beginner sessions running throughout the week held at Daventry and Weedon. Group sessions or Private sessions available.

Thank you to Daventry Town Council West Northamptonshire Council for making today’s event happen and it being such a great success.

We are looking forward to attending this event on Wednesday ran by Daventry Town Council

We attended this event last year and it is a great day out for all, so do come along and say hey to all the fantastic agencies and activities available.

We are looking forward to introducing more people to the fantastic and accessible sport of pickleball.
