Club Announcement

We are sad to announce that Kevin McCafferty has today stepped down as manager of Dunipace AFC.

Kevin enjoyed four successful seasons in charge, winning us promotion to the Caledonian Premier League in his second season, before winning the East of Scotland Cup earlier this year.

Kevin had this to say;

“I’d like to thank every player who’s contributed to the team during my time here. A few of you have been with me every step of the way, and I can’t thank you enough.

I’d also like to thank all the coaches who’ve helped me along the way. Your support and commitment have been massively appreciated.

A special thanks must also go to the committee. Without them, there wouldn’t be a team.

Thanks to all the sponsors for your continued support towards helping the team, even through coaching or pulling the boots on to play for some of them!

I really hope we can get someone in to take this team forward because there’s a great group of lads here and the club deserves to keep moving in the right direction.

It’s been an incredible four years with plenty of success and memories I’ll never forget.”

Kevin will remain on the committee & still be a massive part of the club going forward. Everyone involved at Dunipace AFC extends our thanks for all his hard work over the last four years, bringing success to the club.

We’re now accepting applications for a new manager. We’re looking for someone to hopefully come in with a few players to hit the ground running and put their stamp on the team ahead of the new season.

We’re looking to add some players to our squad to play in the Caledonian Premier League & build on last season where we won the East of Scotland Amateur Cup.

On Saturday night we had our Player of the Year Night at Bains Bar & Lounge , celebrating a season in which we brought home one of the major trophies in amateur football.
