Joga bola means play football.

That is the whole idea in two words, and where our name comes from.

Not a trial. Not a place for the ones who already made the team. Somewhere any child can walk in, pick up a ball and belong.

Our sessions run from Foundation Phase through to Youth Development, so there is a group for every age and every stage.

Futsal is fast. The game teaches a child to think quickly, lose the ball, carry on, and trust the player next to them.

Just wanted to share some exciting news from the U10’s - We’re incredibly proud to announce that our very own Francis has been given the fantastic opportunity to begin an 8-week trial with Manchester United Academy!

Since joining Jogabola over the summer, Francis has gone from strength to strength, quickly establishing himself as a key part of the team. His performances soon caught the attention of several scouts, and he now has a brilliant opportunity to showcase his talent at one of the biggest clubs in world football.

What has impressed us most, beyond his ability on the pitch, is his attitude, work ethic and commitment in both training and matches. He’s been an absolute pleasure to coach and a fantastic teammate.

Although we’re secretly hoping to see him back in a Jogabola shirt soon 😉, we couldn’t be happier for him and wish him every success over the next eight weeks.

Go and enjoy every minute, Francis! Everyone at Jogabola is right behind you! 🔥

When the autumn term starts, the tablets come out.

Parents feel the guilt, the budgets are tight and the schedule is chaos, leaving no room for movement.

Try this three minute game. Set two cones five metres apart, have your child dribble back and forth counting aloud, then finish with a high five. It burns energy, sharpens focus and gives you a breather.

We see it every week in our local futsal sessions, turning screen fatigue into confident footwork.

When rain wipes out the after school pitch, the real loss is a missed confidence boost.

Your child returns home buzzing from a five second decision on the indoor court, yet many parents see only a cancelled game and worry about screen time and falling grades.

Try this one minute indoor drill: set three cones, have your child sprint to the centre, spot the open cone, decide on the next move and act within five seconds. Repeat three times. It sharpens decision making, keeps athlete development on track and gives a screen time alternative that feeds into maths confidence.

We weave this drill into our regular indoor programmes so rain never stalls progress.

⚽️🔥 JOGOBOLLA CLAIM SECOND WIN OF THE SEASON! 🔥⚽️

🟢 Jogobolla 4-3 Atherton Town 🟢

Another big 3 points sees us move up to 3rd in the league 📈💪 and a great result in front of our new season sponsorship team! 🤝💚

We knew the league wasn’t going to get any easier after promotion, but 2 wins from our first 3 games — I’d have taken that all day long at the start of the season! 👏

Promoted teams are often favourites to go straight back down… but we’re determined to prove people wrong! 💪⚽️

It wasn’t our best footballing performance today, but sometimes you’ve just got to get the job done — and that’s exactly what the lads did. ✅

🎢 ANOTHER 7-GOAL THRILLER FOR THE PARENTS! 😅❤️

All the action came in a crazy, end-to-end first half:

⚽ 2-2
⚽ 3-2 Joga
⚽ 4-2 Joga at half-time! 🔥

The second half was a completely different story. We were under the cosh for long periods, and Atherton pulled one back with 9 minutes to go to make it 4-3. 😬

But the lads dug deep! 🛡️💪 A solid defensive performance, along with some wonder saves from Arthur 🧤🔥, meant we held on for a massive win!

Today was a 16-man performance. Every single player played their part, and we can all enjoy a happy weekend! 🙌⚽️

Let’s get everyone down to training on Monday and put the work in ready for next week’s away game. 💪🏃‍♂️⚽️

Rainstorms steal weekend pitch time and push screen‑time anxiety for mums trying to keep their kids active.

Instead of watching the weather, set up a 1‑minute dribble circuit in the hallway using household objects as markers. It burns energy, sharpens ball control and gives a tangible win before bedtime.

Our indoor court offers a weather‑proof space where the same tactical lesson sticks, keeping the love of the game alive while easing parental guilt.

Jogabola 🔥 U10’s match report

A first win of the season for our boys playing up at the MYSL Prem North 🎉

All 11 squad players gave maximum effort for the cause today, brilliant work rate as well as composed football was on show throughout.

Musa - passed his late fitness test and pulled off a string of excellent saves and distributed the ball really well.

Sami - another all star performance in the wingback position, getting on the ball early from goal kicks and carrying the ball up the pitch elegantly. Was constantly winning the ball back for us as well with his tough tackling.

Nate - another player of the match performance this time voted by parents, scored a goal and caused lots of problems at the top of the pitch as well as forming a solid partnership with Sami at the back.

Francis - coaches player of the match today, caused havoc to the opposition from both wingback and left forward positions. Unlucky not to get on the goal sheet.

Luca - another star performer! Changed the game when he came on, twice intercepting the ball and starting attacks, scoring from one of his bursts from defence.

Mateo - dangerous on the left flank and unlucky not to get an assist.

Charlie - battled brilliantly for the team all over the pitch, deserved a goal for his efforts.

Zano - got us off to a great start with his well taken goal!

Quincey - worked tirelessly up and down the right flank as wingback and right forward, repeatedly finding a team mate with his passing.

Rory - right place at the right time twice today and had some brilliant touches on the ball!

Junior - another star performer effortlessly getting up the pitch from defence and took his goal really well. His tackling and strength on the ball really stood out today.

If we play like this as a squad of 11 players most weeks we will really start kicking on at this level. Well done again 🔥👏🏽⚽️
