Not the result we wanted, but plenty of positives from our first game of the season.
Captain, Udhaya led from the front with both bat & ball. Composed innings of 42 runs & 2-fer with the ball. This all round effort of his earned him 'The DSK Dressing room' man of the match.
Congratulations Udhaya Venkatesan . Looking forward to many such impactful innings in the days to come.
With the bat Varun Sampath & @ Lokesh were brilliant. Lokesh's impact at the top & Varun anchoring the innings were standout performances in the first innings.
With the ball, our bowlers were disciplined right from start. Economical spells from everyone. Udhaya grabbed 2 wickets while Varun & Navaneetha Krishnan Thangamuthu grabbed one each.
Plently to work upon. We learn as we go.
Looking forward to our 2nd game on the 25th.
