Following the EGM last week, there have been no offers of assistance to help with the running of the Club or committee, and as stated, we will be winding down the Club and donating any assets to a suitable charity.

British Canoeing has been made aware of a product recall on a series of paddleboards that presents risk to exposure to water/drowning.

The model being recalled is a iROCKER Blackfin Paddle Boards (Models V, X and XL).
iROCKER are recalling iROCKER Blackfin Paddle Boards (Models V, X and XL) due to the use of substandard glue during a five-month manufacturing period resulting in seam separation and deflation of affected units.

Ten plastic kayaks and paddles were stolen today from Matlock Canoe Club. 2 x Dagger Dynamo (blue/white), 4 x Piranha Master (blue), 2 x Dagger RPM (1 orange , 1 blue /green) 1 Dagger GTX (yellow), 1 Dagger Redline (orange).

Really excited to announce the first Holme Pierrepont Whitewater SUP Festival!

13th/14th August, at Holme Pierrepont Country Park, Nottingham

SUP-X, SUP slalom and loads of general paddling. All races will have both novice and advanced categories

Event entry is £50, and this gives you 2 days of paddling on the white water course along with all the races

Open to all levels, however you must be a confident swimmer. There will be some demo boards available on the weekend, but please let us know if you don't have any kit.
