List of things to finish is getting smaller!

More times than not, I’ve spent 4-5 hours per night at work at the end of a 9 hour shift to get this built. It’s taken far more work than I’d anticipated, more brake pipe remaking, welding, replacing, heating, beating than any C1 should need. But it’s 80% done!!
A huge thank you to Matthew Shelley for the late nights he put in to help (do 99% of the work) get the cage welded in.
Off tomorrow to Harvey Motorsport for full alignment. Then off to Cadwell Park on 8/4 for a shakedown!

So a 1 hour trip to Thruxton is now a 4 hour trip to Oulton Park. Never mind!

**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: POSTPONEMENT OF APRIL RACE MEETINGS**
After undergoing a lengthy due diligence process, the BRSCC have today made the decision to postpone our race meetings which were due to take place at Cadwell Park and Snetterton Circuit over the weekend of 10th & 11th April.
The club have made this decision only after careful consideration of all information and interpretations available to us, these including but not limited to:
· Pre-12th April Government rules related to overnight stays away from home and minimising travel.
· Listening to the views of our members and commercial partners, some of whom have already informed us of their decision not to participate at these race meetings.
· The non-availability of ARDS testing between 3rd March and 12th April, this directly affecting numerous new BRSCC members / competitors.
· Uncertainties raised to us regarding the availability of marshals, race admin staff and event volunteers.
The BRSCC are a racing club and racing is our life blood, however the club believe that this difficult decision has been made in the best interests of our members, commercial partners, staff and volunteers.
The Club are currently working to reschedule race championships and series as necessary, and further announcements will be made on these matters as soon as possible.
BRSCC Chairman Peter Daly passes on this message, “Although we understand that this may not be a popular announcement in some quarters, this was a difficult decision to reach and involved the collation of information from all stakeholders associated with our race meetings. We are fully aware of the information that has been released by numerous sources regarding the running of pre-April 12th race meetings, but our members and customers were not unanimous in supporting these events. Other challenges also became apparent, such as the non-availability of ARDS testing for new drivers, something that will impact not only those drivers but our championships for the whole season.”
