Our shoot this Sunday is filling fast, we still have spaces left for you to book , If you haven't already done so. We still have a few spots in the morning (10:40) and (11:40) the remainder of the morning slots are now single spots.. We still have plenty of spaces after 12:00 if anyone wishing to join us on Sunday.

Don't forget we have our catering van, The Little Food Box offering some great tasty food and a hot drink before you go out on the shooting ground. they are a great favourite with all the shooters. Go and check it out for yourselves.

Anyone wanting to contact us on the day of the shoot, just remember that mobile signal is very poor and difficult to make contact with us. If you would like to shoot and have not booked in online, always come along, we will always try and get you out on the shooting ground, but you may have to wait until a space becomes available.

We have noticed that we are still seeing plastic wads on the shooting ground, we don't allow them any longer due to SSSI restrictions and we don't want to loose the ability to shoot on this site. Im sure you all understand the importance of not leaving plastic on the site. Please use only felt wads at Darley Dale Clay Pigeon Shooting Club.....

Just to let you all know that we wont be having our Sportrap on the 13 September, Pete & Jackie will be back again on the 27 September .

Hi all.

It's with great sadness that we advise you all that our dear friend and fellow shooter Richard Hall has sadly passed away over the weekend. He was a loyal member of our club and a genually lovely guy to have around. He will be truly missed by all.

Rest in peace our friend. We'll post funeral details when we know more.

WE NEED YOUR HELP - HONDA GENERATOR

We are looking for help to get our Honda GX390 engine running on our 6Kva Generator. It’s been working fine, but recently it has decided to stop. For now it’s not a huge problem but as winter returns we will be needing extra power for lighting and heating in the main cabin. We have checked all the usual problems on the engine, but still unable to get it running. We wondered if there is anyone out there who have experience in repairing Honda engines and would be will to take a look to see if you could get it running again. If you can help or know of someone that can, please will you get in touch.

Don't forget its Freebirch Sportrap today. 2x25 Sporting layout. One layout set by Tom and the other by Pete. Starts at 13:00 through until 7pm. Whatever you do don't forget your sun tan creams, you'll certainly need it. Refreshments are available and please remember it's felt wads only.

BOOKINGS ARE NOW OPEN

Our next shoot on the 23 AUG 2026 , consists of 11 stands, all controlled by remote control units or cable & buttons. Groups of 6 shooters have 10 mins at each stand which is plenty of time not to cause any queuing. All our equipment is kept well maintained, preventing unwanted breakdowns and hold ups that we know you all dislike. Staff regularly patrol the ground and are available via our SOS radio’s which are attached to various cages throughout the shoot.

Juniors must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Sportrap (25 Birds): £10
No pre-booking is required for the Sportrap – simply turn up, pay and shoot!
