We’re proud to see two of our junior players, Charlie and Amelia, representing the club as part of the ball crew at The Nottingham Open this year! 🎾👏

It’s great to see our juniors involved in such a fantastic event and gaining experience at the top level of the game!

🎾 Derby League action this week!

Our Women’s 1st Team were in action against Duffield 2nd Ladies in a thriller. It was a close contest, with 3 rubbers going all the way to match tie-breaks! Congratulations to Duffield on edging it 5-4 👏

Meanwhile, our Men’s 2nd Team faced Little Eaton and produced a dominant 9-0 win, not dropping a single rubber 💪🔥

Great effort from both teams, with plenty more matches to come this week 👀🎾

Our tennis club is more than just a place to play – it’s a community, and few people have done more to build that community than the Rushby family.

For over 20 years, they have been instrumental in getting people on court, introducing new players to the game, encouraging juniors and adults alike, and helping our club thrive. Their dedication, kindness and enthusiasm have touched so many lives within our tennis family.

Now, as Ottilie bravely faces neuroblastoma, we have an opportunity to support them in return.

Padel will run straight before tennis — just arrive 1 hour earlier!

If the trial sessions are well supported, we hope to add padel permanently to our coaching programme from September ⭐

For our Family Fun Night on Friday, 26th June, we’re bringing back the popular Bottle Game Stall!

To make it a success, we need your help…

From Sunday, 21st June, please start dropping off any unopened, unwanted full bottles (there will be a designated box in the clubhouse).

These can be:
🍷 Wine, prosecco, beer, spirits
🧴 Shampoo, bubble bath, toiletries
🥤 Soft drinks, sauces — anything in a bottle!

The more variety, the more fun the stall will be!

On the night there’ll also be tennis, padel, pickleball, a BBQ and refreshments — a brilliant evening for all ages.

Free for members | £2 for non-members

Have a clear out, do a good deed, and help us make this a fantastic night for everyone 🙌
