Shout out to Jermaine Palmer on his performance last night. This guys never boxed before and has only been in my gym about 6 weeks but he worked his ass off and gave his all in a tough boxing match last night. Well done mate you did us proud 🥊
Well done to his opponent Jordan Simpson aswell and big thanks to the team and the lads in the gym for their part.

I'm very pleased to announce the club now has it's own on site defibrillator thanks to Tony and Helena Lucas. Since the tragic loss of their son Issac last September Tony and Helena have been raising money to get defibrillators put in to local sports clubs. Massive thanks to them both and it's great to see Tony back training at the club 🥊

So after the release of the new Giant movie about Prince Naseem and Brendan Ingle i've had a lot of people asking me what i know about the situation and i've seen lots of my old stable mates saying their piece so thought i'd give my 2 pence.
First off i don't know Naseem, i walked in to the Ingle gym at 13 years old which by then Naz had retired from boxing. I spent the next 7 years getting trained by Brendan and listening to his stories about boxing and life and just like many of the lads in the gym he was like a second dad to me, trying his best to educate us and teaching us all the way of the world.
It's a sad day to hear Naz say the negative comments about Brendan, especially when he is no longer around to defend himself but all the lives he changed for the better is making us all give our opinion and i think everyone that knew Brendan agree's what Naz has said is far from accurate. Brendan wasn't all about the money, he was a humble man who would give anyone his time and even the shirt off his own back. He would take groups of us young lads around the local area litter picking and keeping the place clean. He would encourage us all to get a education. He would say never lie, cheat, steal or take drugs and don't go fooling around with more than one women because if you have one women trust me you have enough problems. He was a very humble and grounded man and in my eyes he was a profit in the boxing world.
I won't ramble on too much but Brendan Ingle was one of those once in a lifetime individuals and it was a honour to of known him and been trained by him.
Rest in peace Brendan Ingle MBE ❤️

Sadly last week one of my students and a friend Issac Lucas passed away in a freak occurrence. Its absolutely heart breaking for me and everyone there but even more so for his family. My heart goes out to his Mother, Father and brother. His Father has started a go fund me page to get our club a defib and help other small sports facilities buy such necessary equipment. If you could spare a pound or more please donate to Issac's go fund me page.

A good run out yesterday in Shepshed for two of my juniors. George absolutely smashed it in his first skills bout and Jack had his first competitive bout which was a tough bout and we didn't get the decision but he did really well against a good lad. Well done to both fighters!! 🥊🥊🥊

Two good performance's yesterday from a couple of the lads. Jack put on a good performance in his third skills bout and Ricky brought home the gold in his title fight and is now midlands area Cruiserweight champion. Ricky's opponent is refusing to give the belt back so we didn't get a picture with the belt unfortunately but we've got a brand new one on the way so pics incoming! 🥊🥊🥊
