Set in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk countryside you will find one of the best 9-hole golf courses in the region. Dereham Golf Club is a wonderfully manicured parkland course set in one of the warmest and sunniest districts in the UK. It is a friendly and sociable Members club that welcomes societies and visitors who wish to pay a green fee. Situated with the delightful North Norfolk coast line close by it is an ideal place to fit in a few holes whilst holidaying in the area. Dereham Golf Club can be found on the main Fakenham Road just north of Dereham. It’s unique appeal as a 9-hole course is enhanced by 17 very different tee positions. A perfect example of this variation is the 5th hole which on the front nine is played at 444 yards, par 4, stroke index 1 whilst on the back nine it becomes the 14th, a par 5, 525 yards with a stroke index of 6. The course played as eighteen holes measures 6292 yards and is a challenge for all levels of competence

The clubs existence dates back to the early 1930’s. There is a comfortable traditional style clubhouse overlooks the first tee and the final green. There is a good sized lounge bar and a separate restaurant area. Bar snacks and full “A la carte” menu are available most days. Come and play golf at Dereham you will be assured of a very warm Norfolk welcome.

It's time to take your partners and get on the dancefloor for the Fore Get Me Not Golf Waltz.

This 9 hole social golf competition will see teams of four take to the course. On each hole, between 1 and 4 of the best scores will count towards the team score. The twist? No one knows the waltz pattern until the band stops playing! You can assume that it won't be 1-2-3-4,1-2-3-4 😀

Entry is only £3 a person and tee times are available between 4pm and 6pm on Friday 4th September. Booking is live now via HowDidIDo, so secure your spot for what promises to be a fun evening of golf.

There are prizes for the top three teams, and all proceeds will be going to Fore Get Me Not Golf, to help those living with dementia through the power of golf!

Save The Date!!

Friday 4th September will see the annual 9 hole social Fore Get Me Not Golf - Dereham fundraiser return to Dereham Golf Club.

The format is strictly confidential but we can tell you it is for teams of 4, and some great prizes are waiting for those who can get the ball on the dancefloor.

We are up and running at the table top sale today at St Nicholas Church in Dereham.
Come and see Jacqueline on the stall selling books, plants, golf balls and ornaments amongst other items. You will also be able to get information about Fore Get Me Not Golf and the dementia cafe running at Dereham Golf Club.
The sale raises funds for the redevelopment of the church, and any proceeds made today will help us continue to provide our cafe free of charge.

We would love to see you all there!

Our 2026 Charity Day is on Friday 29th May at Dereham Golf Club, and we couldn't be more excited!

While the golf event is sold out with Rogers & Norton Solicitors Limited returning to defend their win last year, we would love to see you drop in between 10:30am and 1:30pm on the day to show your support for this amazing charity, helping people living with Dementia.

On the day there will be refreshments including homemade cakes, an opportunity to buy raffle tickets, a prize draw and special offers of "Fore" Get Me Not Golf clothing.
You will also be able to find out more about the efforts of the charity both locally and Nationwide, as well as explore ways you can help including volunteer opportunities.
