🐴🎉 Congratulations to all of our Pony Club members who recently passed their D+ and C Tests! 🎉🐴

We are incredibly proud of each and every rider for their hard work, commitment, and determination. These achievements reflect not only their riding ability but also their growing knowledge of horse care, stable management, safety, and horsemanship.

At City of Derry Pony Club, we believe Pony Club is about so much more than riding. It provides young people with the opportunity to develop confidence, responsibility, resilience, teamwork, leadership skills, and a lifelong love of horses. Our riders learn through hands-on experience, building practical skills both in and out of the saddle in a supportive and encouraging environment.

A special thank you to our coaches, volunteers, and families who continue to support our members on their Pony Club journey.

We are looking forward to welcoming even more members through their tests at our Annual Pony Camp this summer, with additional training days planned throughout the holidays to help riders prepare for their next Pony Club milestone.

💚 There is something very special about watching mums support one another, babies explore a new environment, and horses quietly hold space for everyone present.

The weather certainly kept us on our toes, with sunshine one minute and showers the next, but that didn’t stop us enjoying time together in the warmth and comfort of the barn. 🐴👶

We feel privileged to have shared our community with theirs and to witness the smiles, conversations, moments of connection, and gentle introductions between babies and our horses. These are the moments that remind us how powerful it can be to slow down, connect with nature, animals, and each other.

Our horses have a wonderful way of meeting people exactly where they are, asking nothing in return and offering a calm, accepting presence. For mums navigating the joys and challenges of early parenthood, creating space to pause, connect, and simply be can be incredibly valuable.

A huge thank you to the team at Minding Mum Waterside for spending the morning with us. It was a joy to meet all the mums and little ones, and we look forward to welcoming you back again. 💞

Another fantastic Equine Therapy session with Pauline at the City of Derry Equestrian Centre! 🐴 The weather kept us guessing with sunshine one minute and heavy showers the next, but we stayed warm and cosy in the barn. Thank you Pauline. We really enjoyed our time with you and we know the mums and babies did too as you can see from the photos. 💞
