Great job by our fantastic U9.5s who finished strong in their last blitz of 2026, running out in their new kits sponsored by Glen Youth Club ๐๐ค
It was a great display by the boys showing just how far they have come this season ๐ช๐

Doire Colmcille wish to engage the services of a self-employed Games Promotion Officer (GPO) to help promote Gaelic games and attract new members from across our community.
The Club are inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified individuals, operating on a self-employed basis, who would be capable of providing games promotion services to the club. This is an opportunity for an independent provider to contract with the club to deliver an agreed programme of work, for example, promoting our games in local schools and the community, supporting coaching and nursery activity and running games promotion initiatives on the Clubโs behalf.
To clarify the terms of the arrangement:
โขThis is not an employment position. Doire Colmcille are seeking to engage an independent, self-employed provider under a contract for services.
โขThe contract for services will be for a certain number of hours per week at an agreed rate which, will be discussed.
โขThe provider will invoice the club for services delivered and will be responsible for their own tax and National Insurance affairs with HMRC.
โขThe provider will have control over how and when the agreed services are carried out and will be required to liaise with local schools and other organisations to organise how the services will be provided.
โขAs the services involve contact with children and young people, the provider must hold (or be willing to obtain) appropriate AccessNI vetting and GAA safeguarding certification.
โขProof of qualifications and vetting must be supplied, upon request, before a successful candidate takes up the position.
If you are a self-employed individual interested in providing these services, or would like to discuss what the engagement could involve, please register interest by emailing your details to

A huge thank you to every Club Member, Player and Supporter who contributed.
