Dance Fusion

A Fusion of Hip Hop, Freestyle, Contemporary & Irish Dance!

Dance Fusion is an exciting combination of traditional Irish dance with modern street dance, merging dancers from the McCloskey School of Irish Dance with dancers from the Dolphin Dance School and Longtower Dance School. In this cross-community project the dancers will swap skills to create a fantastic blend of Irish dance, hip-hop, freestyle and slow dance performances which will be danced throughout the year at many of the City of Culture Events.

With all its moving, twisting and turning dancing keeps the mind sharp and helps to ward-off depression! So what better way to raise money to help with the prevention of su***de in aid of Zest - Healing the Hurt. Zest is a local charity who provide support and counselling for those of us who don't feel ok. Not only do Zest need our continuous time and efforts, there are also a lot of people close to us who deserve to feel better. So let's get dancing and make everyone laugh.
