**AFC R&D Vikings U12s 1-4 Desborough Gladiators U11s**

A superb away-day performance from the Gladiators as we made it back-to-back league wins with a brilliant 4-1 victory. 💪

🔥 **Ahmad stole the headlines** with a clinical hat-trick and an assist, showing great composure in front of goal and pressing brilliantly from the front. Jessie was instrumental too, providing two assists before getting the goal his performance deserved.

👏 A special mention to Corey, who was outstanding throughout with relentless energy, big tackles, clever passing and an assist of his own. The midfield worked tirelessly, while the defence stayed composed and Eddie remained focused whenever called upon.

The biggest positive? The teamwork. High pressing, great passing combinations and players constantly working for each other. When this group moves the ball quickly and plays together, they are a real force.

5 GOALS. 3 POINTS. 💪🔥

Goals From: ⚽️ Corey, ⚽️ Charlie ⚽️Jessie and ⚽️ ⚽️ Ahmad.

Assists From: Alfie, Corey, Ahmad

A slow start saw us go 1–0 down, but the boys showed great character to turn it around and finish with a convincing 5–1 away win! 👏

Corey, levelled with a brilliant strike before half time. Charlie, finished clinically after a fantastic run and assist from Ahmad. Jessie — raced through and finished after a beautiful assist from Alfie. Ahmad — two well-deserved goals to cap off a brilliant performance! 🔥

Some fantastic football in the second half, with much better passing, movement, tackling and teamwork. Defence was strong and some excellent tackling and heading away.

🧤 Eddie was superb between the sticks, making some crucial saves when we needed him most.

Desborough Town Juniors Gladiators U12s 4-3 Aztec Braves U12s
A brilliant second-half comeback and plenty of character from the Gladiators saw them kick off the season with a hard-earned victory. Fantastic teamwork, great attacking football and some quality finishing secured the win.

Our U12 Gladiators win in gameweek 1 against our local rivals Aztec Braves. Giving them their first win in competitive football, and their first 3 points!
