Some of us Dee Runners were at Crawfordsburn tonight getting a route recce in ahead of our Parkrun Takeover this Saturday.

Last week 4 Dee Runners laced up and took on parkrun! 🌳 Will, Cara & Fiona headed to Bangor, while Ali ventured to Crawfordsburn 💙 great efforts all round guys 👏🏼

A massive congratulations to Will for smashing his PB with an amazing time of 20:25 Your hard work is paying off very well deserved! 💙👏🏼

On Saturday, 8 Dee Runners took part in Bangor parkrun, with fantastic efforts from everyone ... Well done Will, Gary, Cara, Mark, Diane, Kady, Fiona and Debbie 💙

Our last event on sunday was a lot closer to home with Joanne taking on the Peninsula Sea Sprint in Donaghadee. The event was a 750m swim in Donaghadee harbour (00:13:36), followed by a coastal cycle (00:44:26) before finishing with a 5K run (00:29:07). Massive well done Jo finishing with an awesome overall time of 1:31:57 and even more special getting to race around our own hometown 💪🏼💙

Lewis and David took on the Antrim coast half marathon. One of the most scenic races along the Antrim coastline, it was a fantastic challenge for both boys who put in a brilliant effort from start to finish with Lewis getting 2:02:12 and David 2:23:11 💙🏅👏🏼

We had Kady and Marcus take part in storming the castle at Carrickfergus on Sunday A fantastic effort from both runners with Kady producing a brilliant PB of 48:06 and Marcus had an excellent time of 50:37. Huge congratulations to Kady on the PB and very well done to both of you 👏🏼💙🏅
