🏏 END OF SEASON TIDY-UP – HELP NEEDED! 🚨

We’re having an end-of-season tidy-up at Donacloney Mill Cricket Club from 9am on Saturday 26th September.

There’s plenty to get sorted, so the more hands the better! 🙌

If you can spare an hour or two to lend a hand, it would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to Bruce Topping on representing the Ireland over 50s against Yorkshire over 50s today in Dublin

A competitive game saw Yorkshire 147/8 beat the Ireland team 106 all out by 41 runs

Bruce has been outstanding this year for DonacloneyMill 2nds hitting 3 centuries and has been rewarded with his Ireland over50 cap !

Well done Bruce and we hope to see you continue in Irish colours .

DonacloneyMill u15s finished the season losing a closely fought Development Cup final at Woodvale this evening

Batting first DonacloneyMill openers batted steadily against some tight Woodvale bowling

Haydn Ogle (17) was the first wicket to fall but Finlay Ward (52) and Harry Greer (27no) upped the pace as DonacloneyMill finished on a credible 115/2 in their 20 overs

In reply DonacloneyMill’s tight bowling and enthusiastic fielding kept them in the the game until a partnership from L.Bell (41) and Gillespie (50no) have Woodvale the upper hand .
DonacloneyMill kept fighting and 3 quick wickets near the end Kept the game going to the last 6 balls as Woodvale finished 118/4 to win by 6 wickets

The pick of cloney’s bowling were Haydn Ogle 2/21 off 4 Harry Greer 1/11 off 4 and Finley 1/9 off 2

Although a close defeat in the end the Cloney u15s can be proud of their efforts
And can look forward to next year with 8 of the team being available to play next year
