Taekwondo is an expensive sport, but sometimes you have to look beyond the financial cost and see the true value of what these children gain. The friendships, experiences, knowledge and life lessons they take away are priceless. ❤️🥋

These kids train incredibly hard and travel abroad to challenge themselves against some of the best fighters. If they only compete back home, they miss out on the experiences that help them grow, not just as athletes, but as people.

International competition teaches resilience, confidence, respect, humility and lessons that stay with them long after the medals have been put away.

Every child who stepped onto the mats today deserved to be here. They earned their place through hard work, dedication and commitment, and I couldn't be prouder of how they represented themselves.

Today, we brought home two very well-deserved bronze medals for our girls! 🥉🥉

But just like any other sport, Taekwondo is a team sport, too. It's about supporting one another, celebrating each other's successes and picking each other up through the tough moments. It's about the friendships, the encouragement and the bond built through every experience.

Even though we come from two different clubs, when we're out here together, we're one family. We grow together, learn together and stand together as a team.

The cost may be high, but the lessons, memories, friendships and experiences these children gain are priceless. ❤️🥋
