Parklands Over 45’s FC are delighted to announce the signing of experienced defender Ross Landells! ✍️⚽️

After an impressive trial spell, Ross has put pen to paper and joins the club for an undisclosed fee. 💰👀

The club are delighted to get the deal over the line and add Ross’s experience, strength and quality to the squad ahead of the new season. 💪🔵⚫

Speaking after completing the move, Ross said:

“As soon as I spoke with the manager Karl Whitaker, I knew Parklands was where I wanted to be.”

Sources are reporting that Parklands star man Shaun Orton was due to report back today and feature in our pre-season friendly against Ring O Bells…

Unfortunately, a flight delay has thrown those plans into chaos and Shaun WON’T make it back in time for kick-off. ✈️⏰😂

Club officials are said to be “extremely disappointed with the player” and questions are already being asked about the timing of his little summer getaway… 👀🤣

Rumours that the club are considering fining him two pints and a packet of crisps remain unconfirmed. 🍺🍺

Pre Season friendlies get under way this weekend 🥊 training has been going well and we have strengthened our squad with some great new additions. One of our aims is to get people over 45 into physical activity and social inclusion so if you fancy joining our training sessions just message the page. 💙 🖤 UTP

Due to the extreme temperatures forecast, we have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow’s training session.

The safety and wellbeing of our players must come first.
