ROYAL BALLET SCHOOL ASSOCIATES 🩰

So lovely to finally have some photos of our Royal Ballet School Associate girls as they begin another year of training. 🩰

We’re incredibly proud to have Allegro/YCA dancers gaining places across Junior, Mid and Senior Associate programmes this year:

🩰 Junior Associates
Charlotte Doyle
Keyarna Coucom

🩰 Mid Associates
Holly Birch
Felicity Lovejoy

🩰 Senior Associates
Hope Marfleet
Imogen Bailey
Evieanna Scatcherd, who gained her Senior Associate place while training at Allegro, before leaving us this September to begin her full-time vocational training at Tring Park.

The Royal Ballet School Associate Programme gives talented young dancers the opportunity to receive additional classical ballet training alongside their training at their home school.

From Junior through to Senior level, we’re so proud to see our dancers continuing to develop their classical training and make the most of opportunities beyond their regular classes.

Train for the dancer you want to become, not just the dancer you are today.

JAZZ WITH GABBY ✨

A new year of Jazz with Gabby Associates has begun!

For Maddie and Autumn, this is their first year on the programme, while Alice returns for her third year of training.

The programme focuses on jazz technique, strengthening and developing the skills and foundations.

We love seeing our dancers take opportunities to add to their regular Allegro training, work with different teachers and continue developing their technique.

A brilliant start to the year for them all. 🤍

Train for the dancer you want to become, not just the dancer you are today. 🔥

MONDAYS = RAD BALLET 🩰

From our Primary dancers through to Advanced 1, Monday evenings in Studio 1 are all about ballet.

Building strong foundations, musicality, technique and artistry, progressing step by step through the RAD grades and into pre-vocational training.

Different ages. Different stages. The same foundations.

Train for the dancer you want to become, not just the dancer you are today.

We’re heading to the CYD? Super Convention! 💫

This October, we have two Allegro teams performing at the Super Convention, alongside our Senior Finalists.

First up, our first ever Junior CYD Team 🩷

We put this team together to give these talented minis another opportunity to perform, this time on an even bigger stage and in a completely new environment.

The non-competitive performance platform is such a brilliant opportunity for them to build confidence, gain experience, perform in front of a huge audience and enjoy being on stage together without the pressure of placings or results.

For some of these children, it’s also a lovely chance to gain experience as we start looking ahead to our Junior Competition Team for next year.

We can’t wait to see our juniors up there on the big stage! 🩷

FIRST FESTIVAL BACK 💜🖤

A small but mighty Allegro team braved the competition stage at Leger & Montgomery this weekend for our first festival back after the summer break, and what a brilliant return they had!

We’re so proud of every dancer who got back out there and performed. Lots of lovely performances, personal progress, confidence gained and some fantastic results along the way. ✨

A special congratulations to Daisy, who was selected to dance in the Adjudicator’s Choice and also received:

🏆 Most Promising Baby
🏆 Highest Mark Cabaret
🏆 Highest Mark Cabaret & Song

And to Imogen, who received:

🏆 Highest Ballet Mark of the Festival
🏆 Highest Character Mark of the Festival

What a lovely way to start the new competition season.

Well done to every one of our little team, we’re very proud of you all. 💜🖤

Another exciting beginning 💗

A huge congratulations to our three Allegro dancers who have started their training with Align Dance Company Associates.

We are always so proud to see our dancers seeking opportunities to broaden their training, experience different teaching styles and continue developing outside of their regular classes at Allegro.

Associate training is such a valuable addition to a dancer’s weekly training, new teachers, new challenges, new friendships and another opportunity to grow in confidence, versatility and performance.

We hope you three have the most wonderful year with Align. Work hard, enjoy every opportunity and, most importantly, have the best time. 💜🖤

We’re very proud of you.

Little steps. Big beginnings. 💜

Our Pre-School Dance class is where some of our littlest dancers begin their Allegro journey.

Through music, movement and imaginative play, children begin to develop confidence, coordination, balance, musicality, listening skills and independence, all whilst having fun and learning to love dance.

At 2–3 years old, it isn’t about perfect steps. It’s about building the foundations: learning to listen, take turns, follow instructions, move to music and feel happy and confident in the studio.

And you never quite know where those first little steps might lead… 🥹

Spaces are now available.
