πŸ‰ Our younger age groups are competing in school rugby competitions, with two out of three age groups recently coming away victorious at Twickenham!

πŸ‘ And we even have five Bentley girls currently playing Rugby Union for Pontefract!

That’s what makes our girls’ section so special - opportunities, development, friendships and a pathway to see just how far rugby can take you

πŸ’™πŸ’› AN OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT! πŸ’™πŸ’›

Not only have Mia and Leah signed for Leeds Rhinos U19s, but they have also been selected for the England DiSE Programme (Diploma in Sporting Excellence) β€” an incredible opportunity that sees just 30 girls from across the whole country selected.

To have two Bentley girls recognised at this level is a phenomenal achievement and something our club, coaches, teammates, families and supporters should be incredibly proud of πŸ‘πŸ»

Leah and Mia, this is recognition of all the hard work, commitment and dedication you’ve put into your rugby. You’ve both shown just how far talent, determination and a love for the game can take you.

From Bentley girls rugby to Leeds Rhinos and now the England DiSE programme β€” what an achievement! πŸ’™πŸ’›

We couldn’t be prouder of you both. Keep pushing, keep believing and keep showing everyone what Bentley girls can do!πŸ”₯

Congratulations Leah & Mia! πŸ‘πŸ’™πŸ’›

THE GIRLS ARE INTO THE SEMI-FINAL! πŸ†

What a performance. What a team. What a result! πŸ‘ Every single one of those girls stood up today and stood up for each other from the very first whistle to the last. The goal-line defence was absolutely outstanding. The determination, effort and teamwork were there for all to see, and to travel to Orrell St James and come away with a 22–0 win and a clean sheet is a huge credit to every one of them.
And perhaps most impressive of all was the way the girls kept their composure throughout. Whatever was happening around them, they stayed focused, played their rugby and represented Bentley with pride πŸ’™πŸ’›

Well done, girls. You were all outstanding. πŸ‘πŸ”₯

The journey continues…

πŸ‘πŸ» A HUGE THANK YOU!

This Saturday, the girls hit the road to Wigan for the 4th and final round of the National Cup β€” and there is everything to play for πŸ†
It’s another brand-new challenge as we face a Wigan side the girls have never met on the field before. But after everything they’ve battled through in this cup campaign, they’re ready to step up once again πŸ’ͺ🏻πŸ”₯

πŸ’™πŸ’› NATIONAL CUP | RESULT πŸ’›πŸ’™

πŸ’™πŸ’› U13s 18 – 8 WARRINGTON πŸ’™πŸ’›

What a game! What a performance! πŸ”₯
That was one tough battle today! We came up against a very physical Warrington side, but the girls stood their ground and showed just how strong they are when they stick together. πŸ’ͺ🏻
The first half wasn’t quite our usual standard and we made a few mistakes, but after 3 games in just 8 days, we knew this was always going to test the girls both physically and emotionally.
What we loved most was the way they responded. They picked themselves back up, dusted themselves off and went again and again. No matter how tough it got, they kept fighting, kept working for each other and kept pushing right until the final whistle πŸ‘ŠπŸ»
Every single one of them should be incredibly proud of themselves πŸ’™πŸ’›
