346 river creatures will be parading in Cerne Abbas on Saturday 26th Sept on our Bubbles and Squeaks River Parade. 35 beavers, 26 mayfly, 30 swallows, 2 giant crayfish, 26 caddis larvae, a huge kingfisher, and many more, all celebrating the rivers Cerne and Mangerton.

We loved seeing local families bring some of our wonderful river creatures to life during our recent workshops. Now it is the creatures turn for the limelight as our fabulous lanterns form two riverside processions, in Cerne Abbas on Saturday 26 September and Powerstock on Saturday 17 October. We are still looking for stewards for our forthcoming river parades, the Cerne one a daytime event, and the Powerstock one an illuminated procession. Over 500 children and adults have made 326 river lantern creatures, some of them giants.
