Portman Horse Trials – Rushmore Estate The Portman Horse Trials were started in 1976 by Susie and John Woodhouse on behalf of British Eventing. Having run over 4 different venues, the current event is held at Rushmore Park, inspired and supported by the Late William Gronow Davis MFH who sadly died at the end of 2015.

Due to heavy weather, in the forecast over the weekend, it might be advisable to contact the organizers as to their thoughts on this event? You can find their web page on the link below. Know they have a plan, but if snowing, then you had better obtain first hand updates!! Have been there when it is impossible to move trucks or trailers!
