The eighth week of 2026/27 Season Three was played last night with a 17 players, as again we had many regulars missing for various reasons. Registration for Tuesday 22nd September will open at 9am on Monday 21st September. I know it is not always possible but please do try to let me know you are coming as early as you can so as to avoid delays on the night. Please also let me know if you then are unable to make it, again, as early as you can.
Again we saw a quick game this week, but there was still time for the sidepot cards to poke their tongue at a couple of players, with Sean Houlton being dealt 6♦ at least four or five times, but never with 2♥, and Penny Jones getting all the chips in the middle with them before not only losing the hand but exiting the tournament at the same time, ouch! Sean overcame his disappointment by claiming his first win of the season, which puts him clear of Tina Jordan for most wins at the Club, congratulations.
