Great day at Epworth on Sunday with 3/3 double clears and all 3 boys placing in the top 5 💪

CFH Vivendi Cornet, owned by was an absolute pleasure to finish 5th in the BE90open on our first run together whilst I temporarily stand in for Saffy!

My own, Mum and Rachel Cardall's Meridianway Victory jumped two really classy rounds to take 5th in his Novice section 🦄

Finally our own WHS Hotmail continued to impress us taking 🥈in his Novice section on only his third attempt at the level 🤩🕷

It was an extra busy one with me on coach duties for BE too, so thanks to Wade for keeping everything running smoothly at the lorry and well done to all my clients and connections on achieving some great results 👏

This little guy just gets better and better 🤩🤩

My own and Mum's WHS Hotmail absolutely nailing his second Novice at Aston le Walls yesterday 🕷

He posted the leading dressage with a score of 28.8, followed by a double clear bang on the optimum time to take the win 🏆🥇🍾

I've always thought a lot of him and really believe he'll be an upper level horse so its great to feel we're reaping the benefits of a slow and steady start with a happy, confident horse who absolutely loves his job!

Unfortunately this year's Bramham was a bit of a non starter for us! After working really well on Thu evening, Joey felt unlike himself on Fri morning and it became clear after his test that he was really quite sore and uncomfortable. Lucky for me we had our home vet and physio on site, and after looking at him it was decided it was in Joey's best interests that we didn't SJ or XC this year!

The vets suspect he had been cast in his stable overnight on Thu. Bad timing and disappointing after building up to Bramham all spring, but as always these amazing horses come first and he'll be back out in no time!

Massive thanks to Rainbow Equine Vets and Equine and Canine Solutions for being on hand, and to Joey's owner Rachel, who always has his well being as the top priority. It makes my job so much easier knowing I have your full understanding and support through the ups and downs of this sport!

Massive congratulations to everyone who completed the event, especially my fellow local riders, it's one hell of a feeling crossing through those finish flags!

I was going to do a round up from the last month, but I think this guy deserves his own post after smashing it out of the park to finish 5th in his first Novice at Little Downham yesterday!!🕷💪🔥

It's been a long time coming from finding him as a 2yo, but he's turning out to be everything I hoped!

Other highlights have included -

Victor continuing a good run of form while we form our partnership, with 7th in the Novice at Bishop Burton and 9th in the IN at Little Downham 🦄

A double clear and 🥉for Joey in the OI at Bishop Burton ahead of his run at Bramham this coming week 🖤

Fingers crossed for a good week ahead 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Another super double clear and another top 10 finish for Meridianway Victory in the Novice at Burnham Market International Horse Trials

Thank you to Ibby Macpherson for helping to source him and to Rachel Cardall for co-owning with myself and Mum 🙏

Rachel's own M Bear Esquire also did his 4* test today and produced some solid work for an improved score, showing us what's to come soon🤞🏼

Now, for a day off before we head back on Sunday for Joey to tackle the 4* jumping phases 💪🖤

We had a great day at on Sunday!

Our new boy Meridianway Victory owned by myself, Mum and Rachel Cardall made a good start to our partnership with a solid double clear whilst having an easy run in the BE100open to place 9th 🤍 and my own and Mum's WHS Hotmail got his season off to a flying start with a super test for 29 and classy double clear to finish🥉in his BE100 section 🖤

It was great to see so many clients picking up some good results, too, and after helping me with my guys all morning, Wade Barley picked up 4th place in his section with The Gentleman!
