✨ A WEEK TODAY! ✨
This time last week we were getting ready to hit the streets of Stalybridge for the Carnival — and what an incredible day it was! 🎪🌟
Our Greatest Showman float, our amazing dancers, and SO much glitter and sparkle out there representing SK Academy! 💜
Seeing our students beaming with pride as they danced through the crowds is a memory we'll treasure for a long time.
Huge thank you to everyone who came out to cheer us on, waved from the pavements, and made the day so special.
Tameside community spirit at its finest! 🙌
Can't wait for the next one already, and let’s just say we already have a theme in mind 🤠 .. 👀

This month genuinely took my breath away. 💜
Watching our SK Academy family come together this June through rehearsals, through nerves, through tiny breakthroughs in class has reminded me exactly why this school exists. Every plié, every "I finally got it!", every proud parent watching from the sidelines... it all matters so much more than I can put into words.
We celebrated 50 years of carnival magic at Stalybridge Carnival 🎪✨ and now we're counting down to "A Night at the Movies" and honestly, seeing how far these kids have come this term has me a little emotional already 🥹
Thank you for trusting us with your little ones (and not-so-little ones!). This community is everything.

🎪✨ What. A. Day. ✨🎪
I don’t even know where to begin from start to finish it was nothing short of magical, and I am so incredibly grateful to every single member of the SK family for the love and support you poured into today. 💜
The children looked AMAZING. Costumes, props, bubbles absolutely everywhere (sorry not sorry) — parents, you have seriously outdone yourselves. 🎉
It was a long day, and not one complaint from these incredible kids..🥰🥹
🏆 And the float? It looked absolutely incredible and bagged us 2nd place on our very first time entering!
Not bad at all, SK Academy. Not bad at all.
A massive, heartfelt thank you to my wonderful team of volunteers who worked tirelessly — most of yesterday and all of today — designing, building and decorating that float with so much love. Your support never goes unnoticed, and I appreciate every single hour you gave to make it magical. 🙏
And to our performers in the park those of you who leapt off the float and danced or performed a solo in front of the crowds, I am SO proud of you.
It takes real guts to do what you did, and every single one of you pulled it off with grace and pure professionalism. 🌟
What a day. What a team. What a family. 💜
Now... a *very* quick breather, because next week it’s dress rehearsal time, and then — A Night at the Movies is almost here! 🎬🍿
Busy? Always. Worth it? Absolutely. Watching these kids have the time of their lives makes every single moment worth it. 🎭❤️
