A safe, effective and fun workout in the great outdoors! Buggy Mums is a tailored workout for postnatal women and a great first step back into exercising.
The workout is designed with the postnatal body in mind to gradually strengthen and build fitness safely. Tailored for your specific needs whether you’re a new mum just starting out or you are a restored mum looking for an uplifting workout.
What do we do?
It’s more then just a walk in the park 🌳🌿 We include:
🩵 Power walking
🩵 Hill pushing
🩵 Exercising with and without buggy
🩵 Body weight exercise
🩵 Mini circuits
🩵 Resistance band work
🩵 Functional strength training( the kind of
training that makes every day mum life easier)
🩵 Fun finishers
Each week is a new varied workout to keep it fun, exciting and new to avoid boredom.

Can you see how happy these mums are? 2 busy mums with multiple kids who are just like you, laughing (soo much there was snorting may I add🤣) whilst they are EXERCISING!!!??? That doesn’t make sense, does it?? 🤔
Well, it does when you come to a Buggy Mums Class 🤣
I promise, not every exercise class that’s effective needs to feel like a grind. When exercise is fun and sociable you’re more likely to stick with it. Also, when you spend most of your day singing Ms Rachel songs to your baby or playing Hulk in your toddlers game of superheroes and villains (as much as that is lovely and we cherish these moments) it’s good to chat mum to mum and have a good laugh.

Are you a burned out mum?🤯
Mum burn out is real and many of us are experiencing it but not realising.
Raising children is the best but hardest job in the world but being a mum means everyone wants a piece of you and you’re pulled in all directions. Team that up with keeping on top of household chores, being the driver, planner, chef, entertainer, comforter, organiser, (and that’s just naming a few) we end up feeling frazzled overwhelmed and burned out.
Here’s some things that might help if you’re experiencing burn out
🛁 Take time out and prioritise you even for just 1 hour. You’ll be able to to deal with things soo much better. It’s good for you and it’s good for your kids.
💤 Priorotise sleep. Let’s face it, we don’t get much sleep in the first year of having a little one but, when we feel burned out getting an early night or chosing to have a nap with your baby instead of housework can make you feel a lot better. Everything can feel more difficult when you’re sleep deprived.
☕️ Have a good support network of like minded mums. It feels soo good when you know you aren’t the only one who feels this way. Find friends to share the highs and lows of motherhood with, it can be really comforting and reassuring.
❤️ Accept help. We can sometimes feel we should be able to do everything and have such high expectations of ourselves. Accepting help is hard, it can feel like we aren’t good enough but that cousins be further for the truth. Remember the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”?
🏋️♀️ You may not feel like it, but exercise is the number one way to relieve stress and anxiety. It’s a great way to lift your mood and will increase energy levels. No childcare to go to the gym? A brisk walk with the pram or a mum and baby exercise class like Buggy Mums will definitely help.
