Tonight let's celebrate not only a full moon but the last partial eclipse of 2026 with the Sturgeon Moon, or Blood moon, appearing bright with reddish tones in the dark sky.

At this time we are allowed to leave behind what no longer feels right and what is essential should now take priority.

Old patterns or ways of life that were once necessary, useful or safe may no longer align with the person you are becoming. 🫶

The name Sturgeon Moon comes from the giant fish, a lake sturgeon, found in the Great Lakes of North America.

A new client at Pilates tonight, Kirsty, gave this heart warming review. 🥰

"thanks again so much for the session tonight. It was definitely what my body is needing right now and can’t convey how much I got out of it. Not easy, but definitely rewarding."🙏

I'm so grateful that women put their trust in me to help support their health and fitness goals.

Thank you everyone who comes along to all my classes you let me do what I love ❤️

We celebrated the Buck Moon last night; July's full moon 🌑

In some spiritual beliefs and practices, the Buck Moon is often considered a time of growth, renewal, and regeneration, as bucks shed their antlers each year and grow new ones. 🦌

This process is seen as a time for our own personal growth and transformation, as we must also shed old patterns and beliefs to grow and evolve.

Strawberry Moon

This is what they call the full Moon in June; you may have seen it in the early hours of this morning.

Before calendars, our ancestors kept track of the seasons by following the lunar circles.

When a full moon appeared in the sky, they gave it a special name based on their surroundings, seasonal changes, agricultural cycles and other important events relevant to their culture -
June being the time to collect ripe fruit, especially strawberries 🍓

Tonights Blue Moon is the second full moon to occur this month and this only happens roughly every two and a half years.
This is where the phrase "once in a blue moon" comes from!

A night like this is a gentle reminder from nature to pause. In our busy lives, two or three years can fly by in a flash.

Let's use this rare, bright moon tonight to take a breath, appreciate how far we;'ve come since the last time a moon like this looked down on us, and simply enjoy being present.

If you want to create a small ritual or moment of reflection tonight, here are a few suggestions:

A moon bath.
Spend 5 minutes sitting outside in silence, letting the moonlight wash over you, breathe deeply and notice the stillness of the night.

Release.
Full moons are about energy peaking at the end of a period of time, think about what you want to let go of. Write it down and burn or tear it up under the moonlight

However you spend the evening take a moment to look up and acknowledge the moon with gratitude for all we have. 🙏
