Dumfries Wheelchair Curling Club and Lockerbie Wheelchair Curling Club are very sad to share the news that Keith Thom member of DWCC and former Chair of LWCC passed away on Monday afternoon surrounded by his loving family.
Keith has recently joined the Dumfries club but had been an active member of Lockerbie for many years.
Keith was one of life’s true gentleman and lived his life to the fullest. He loved both his curling and of course his first sport tennis.
His death will leave us all the poorer here in the wheelchair curling community but more importantly we send our condolences to his entire family, and our thoughts go out to all of them at this very sad time.
Rest in peace Keith, you will always be remembered fondly by everyone at both DWCC and LWCC.❤️

On Saturday, we were played in the Nations Cup event that was held by Northern Ice. Our members Ian Donaldson, Mary Bell, Calum McIntosh and Connor Fergusson McGeorge played for team Scotland and Michael Shaw was part of the England side.
This was a Ryder Cup style event and was decided in the final match when Scotland took the win.
Well done to our member at Dumfries Wheelchair Curling, Ian Donaldson, who skipped the event for team Scotland 🏴🥌
Thank you to Stewart Pimblett who ran the Nations Cup, Northern Ice Wheelchair Curling Club and Dumfries Curling for a great day.
