⚽️ WHAT A WEEKEND WITH THE TEKKERS BOYS! 🔵⚪️

Another Tekkers Tour complete — and what an incredible weekend it was from start to finish!

We organised this trip as part of our pre-season schedule, with a huge focus on continuing our development in the 11-a-side game.

With a lot of new faces joining the group, we knew this weekend would be invaluable — not only from a football perspective, but for bringing everyone closer together.

Off the pitch, the objective was simple: create new friendships, strengthen the bond between teammates and bring our parents together as a group too.

Job done. 💙

On the pitch, we deliberately looked for fixtures that would put the boys into a “stress environment” — games that would challenge them physically, technically and mentally.

We wanted to face older players, stronger teams and sides already well into their respective league campaigns.

We achieved all of that — and more.

The boys were tested, challenged and pushed outside their comfort zones, and that’s exactly what these trips are all about. It’s not simply about results; it’s about exposing the players to different environments and experiences that will ultimately help their development.

We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better experience.

A massive thank you to Foyle Harps, Phoenix Athletic and Rangers Northern Ireland Academy for the games, hospitality and the part each club played in making the weekend so enjoyable. 🤝⚽️

And a very special mention to Emmet Friars, who arranged a large part of our trip behind the scenes. Everything from start to finish was absolutely seamless, and we genuinely appreciate all the work that went into making it happen.

Plenty of football.
Plenty of laughs.
New friendships made.
A team brought closer together. 💙

A really good level of football was on show, with both teams looking to get the ball down and play at every opportunity. It made for a brilliant game and exactly the type of challenge we wanted for our players.

Huge credit to , who ran out deserved winners in the end. 👏

From our point of view, we’re delighted with the overall performance. Plenty of positives to take away, some really good football played and another valuable experience for the group as we continue to develop.

Most importantly, the game was played in a fantastic spirit from start to finish. 🤝⚽️

Congratulations to both Naomi Gilfillan & Flora Patterson . Getting to compete in the world Highland dance championships is nothing short of incredible but to come away with a trophy 🏆 each is some achievement for both girls .

The boys begin their three day tour of Northern Ireland tomorrow morning. Three great games lined up which looks like it’s going to be another fantastic experience for the Tekkers boys!

Congratulations young Charlie Berridge on his player of the month award! It’s very well deserved.

Coach Grant had his say on Charlie’s award “it’s been a really good month for the group there’s been 3/4 players that have stepped to that next level but wee Charlie looks a lot fitter , he’s maturing more by the week , he’s now a leader of the pitch and leading by example every week . We’ve popped him in a couple of different positions and he’s producing his best performances to date . It’s definitely a much deserved recognition for Charlie’s contribution this month he can be really proud of his work ethic of late”. Let’s hope he can kick on again !
