⛳️🏆 SCOTTISH GOLF JUNIOR 9’s – CHAMPIONS! 🏆⛳️

A fantastic few weeks of junior golf as our young players have been competing in the Scottish Golf Junior 9’s series alongside Crichton and Thornhill.

It has been brilliant to see so many young golfers out on the course, competing, making friends and enjoying the game. 👏⛳️

After three fixtures at Dumfries & County, Crichton and Thornhill, we’re delighted that Dumfries & County came out on top with 353 points and 17 league points! 🥇🏆

🌟 Ladies Get Into Golf 🩷⛳️

At the start of the season, our Pro Shop opened up Ladies Get Into Golf tuition for any ladies wanting to start golf, learn the basics or simply give it a try!

It was a huge success and fully booked 🤩 Since then, we’ve seen several ladies take the next step - joining as members, gaining their handicaps and now getting involved in our ladies competitions with some (no names! 😉) even gone on to win trophies! 🏆👏🏼

A massive thank you to each and every one of you who came along, got involved and gave golf a go. We hope you continue to enjoy playing and getting involved with the club for many years to come! 🩷

A special shoutout to Rogan & John for making the whole process so easy, simple and fun for everyone. The feedback from the ladies has been fantastic, with so many lovely things said about you both. Superb job! ✨👏🏼and our lady members, lady captain and vice captain for helping get the ladies started, organise fun competitions and welcoming everyone to the club.

On Sunday 31st August, our ladies enjoyed a Florida Scramble, bringing together some new faces and some familiar ones. It was a great afternoon of golf, laughs, meeting fellow members and enjoying a fun team format! 🏌🏼‍♀️🩷

The countdown is officially on… just 33 days until our opening event at Dumfries and County Golf Club 🏌️‍♂️

We do of course have other venues lined up and we look forward to visiting

We still have some places available for this year’s Winter Alliance and we’d love to get the remaining spots filled so we can make this season as competitive, enjoyable and successful as possible.
