This weekend an exciting young team face Kilmarnock 2nd XV to kick start the reserves season 🏉

Good luck boys, making it a good one 🙌

We’ve also added in our ‘weekend fixtures’ slide, so everyone is ready for shouting pitch side, for seniors and youth teams 🙌

And if that’s not enough to be excited about, we have Ayr Rugby and Stewartry Rugby club coming to compete against our mighty Minis teams this Sunday!!!

GENERAL MEETING - SHAPING OUR FUTURE

An invitation to all members

Dumfries Saints is growing — and growing faster than ever.

With increasing numbers across our playing sections, more people getting involved and greater ambitions for our teams and players, we need to start thinking seriously about what our club needs to look like for the future.

We’re inviting members to join us for an important Club Planning Meeting, where we’ll look at where we are now, where we want to go, and what we need to put in place to get there.

The evening will explore some of the big questions facing the club, including:

🏉 Our playing and training facilities
🏋️ Gym and player development provision
🏠 Our buildings and physical assets
🍴 Kitchen, bar and social facilities
🌱 How we can develop our spaces as the club continues to grow
🚀 How we future-proof Dumfries Saints for the next generation

This isn’t about presenting a finished plan. It will be a facilitated, interactive session designed to get everyone talking, contributing ideas and helping shape the direction we take together.

It’s about starting the conversation.
We want to bring the whole club together to share ideas, challenge our thinking and help shape the decisions we make about our future.

There are big opportunities ahead for Dumfries Saints, and we want to make sure that, together, we define the right direction and build a club that can continue to thrive for generations to come.
Our ambition is simple: to give every player at Dumfries Saints the best possible opportunity to grow, develop and achieve — both in rugby and beyond.

With the scale of what we are considering, we’re expecting a big turnout, and we’d love as many members as possible to be part of the conversation.

MONDAY NIGHT RESULTS ROUNDUP 🔴⚪️⚫️

What a start to the season!!!!

On Saturday we saw all three home teams win, with our Sunday seeing some great results, tonnes of support, and teams bursting out the changing room ready to start their season 💪

Great support from our parents/carers/families ✅
Fantastic leadership by our captains ✅
Awesome organisation by our managers✅
Undeniable commitment to support our players by our coaches ✅
Slick service and scrummy scran from Lisa and her kitchen volunteers ✅
Fabulous pint pulling from our bar staff✅
Not a bad job from the committee too 😜✅

All in all , SAINTS are back doing what we love… being Saints, playing rugby, watching rugby, planning rugby and thinking about rugby at park farm or away from home.

Let’s make this a season to remember…. One game in, and it’s already getting exciting!!!

OUR COMMUNITY DAY 🙌

Saturday was a big day for our club, wins on the field, and happy smiling members and fans, young and old, all about celebrating the start of a new season with volunteers running stalls and creating lots of fun!

Thanks to EVERYONE who made the day so special ❤️

SENIOR FIRST XV RESULT.

What’s the best way to start the season? By winning of course!!! And taking a bonus point win is even nicer!!!

A tremendous performance infront of a huge crowd that joined us for our club community day where we had live music from our very own U16’s player Rory who literally kicked off for the U16’s at 2pm on pitch 3, then jumped on to the stage for his second live performance, this time with guitar and microphone in his hands!!

Face painting, Tombola, bottle stalls, drinks, sweets and fun filled the air as our senior men dominated and started the season with a bang!

Thanks to everyone who joined us yesterday and all who join us this season, we’re planning on making it a great one!

The senior men’s season kicks off this weekend with the 1st XV facing West of Scotland at Park Farm 🏉

It’s not just the rugby to keep you entertained, it is also our community day so there will be live music, bouncy castle, raffle, merch stand and much more.

Bring the family along and make a day of it!
