Did you know that you can link your Parkrun profile to Dunbar Running Club?

Go to your Parkrun profile, click on Groups and search for Dunbar to add it.

If you're heading to a particular Parkrun event for the first time, you can check to see who from the club has been there before (usually Murray...)

If you're competitive, you can check to see who has the fastest time (also usually Murray...)

You can also use it to check at a glance who has run on a particular day and where they ran.

There may be other features, but I haven't found them yet!

There has been a flurry of activity as the summer comes to an end!

Dave L was doing the 10k at Scurry Around Devilla Forest.

Karen was at the second of the Sundowner 5k Series at Fettes midweek, then joined a number of runners at the Eyemouth Twilight 5K & Fun Run's on Friday night.

Fraser K, Paddy & Kev finished high enough up the leaderboard to ensure the Scott Purvis team shield comes back to Dunbar for another year! 🏆

Oleg pulled a team of hill runners together for the Simon Wake Comrie Hills Relay on Saturday with Ben, Caspian, Dan and Euan. He's keen to get both male and female teams entered next year...

Murray went back to his roots for his 100th different parkrun event, at Broughty Ferry! 👏

Daniella and James ran one of the classic Scottish ultramarathons, enduring 53 miles and plenty of midges at The Highland Fling 💪

The East Lothian Triathlon Club festival took place in Haddington on Sunday, with Ben & Jake taking part in the novice event, and Vanessa doing the Sprint.

Special shout out to Ben as it was his third race in less than 48 hours!

Membership for 26/27 opens up at the start of October, so the next few weeks are a good chance to come along and see if it’s for you.

Hills again tonight! 7pm start at Wester Broomhouse. Enjoy! 😁

It’s the third Thursday of the month, which means it’s Hill Sprints tonight!

We start at 7pm on the road up to Wester Broomhouse.

We run up the hill for a minute, until Stuart blows his whistle, then we get two minutes to jog back down (considering our life choices) before he makes us do it another 11 times.

I don’t think anybody enjoys it, but we all feel the benefit afterwards 💪

Some people jog up from Hallhill at 6:40 (see route below) whereas others make their own way there.

Oldhamstocks Flower Show Race A race in Oldhamstocks, East Lothian over 6.5km with 200m ascent

It wasn't just about the hills at the weekend!

Diane, Derek, Stephanie and Jude ran the Scottish Half Marathon on Sunday, and Angela took part in the Scottish 10k.
