CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT || FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Dryburgh Athletic Community Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Natalie Forrest as our new Football Development Officer!

Following a comprehensive recruitment process over the past month, we are thrilled to welcome Natalie into this exciting role as we continue to develop and strengthen football opportunities across our club and wider community.

We would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who applied for the position. We were extremely encouraged by the level of interest and quality of applicants, and we wish them all the very best for the future.

Natalie shared the following thoughts on joining the Dryburgh family:

“I’m super excited to start my role as Football Development Officer! I’m looking forward to building on the amazing work already happening at the club, strengthening partnerships across our community, and creating even more opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get involved and enjoy football!”

Natalie officially starts this week, taking on a key role in driving forward the club’s football development ambitions, supporting our continued growth and helping to ensure Dryburgh remains a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

Natalie was joined her first day by our Head of Boys Scott Hill and Head of Girl’s’ and Women’s John Beatt on visits to check out the facilities at New Beechwood Park and a drop in to meet the staff at our partner Change Centre where our community winter programmes are held.

Please join us in giving Natalie a huge Dryburgh welcome! We look forward to this exciting new chapter and everything we can achieve together.

Two Dundee organisations have been recognised in this year’s Living Wage Scotland Awards. Vascular Flow Technologies Ltd has been nominated in the Social Impact category, while the Change Centre Dundee has been nominated for the Local Champion Award. 🏆

Speaking on behalf of the Dundee Living Wage Action Group, co-chair Councillor Steven Rome said: “I’m absolutely delighted to see the Change Centre Dundee and Vascular Flow Technologies recognised for their commitment to the Living Wage. Both organisations do great work in our city and it’s fantastic to see their commitment to staff and fair work recognised through these nominations.

"The Living Wage is about making sure people are valued and paid fairly for the work they do. I’m proud to see Dundee organisations leading the way and these nominations are a real achievement for everyone involved.”

The Living Wage in Scotland is currently £13.45 per hour. There are 118 Living Wage-accredited employers in Dundee, collectively uplifting 2,118 workers to the real Living Wage. Together, these employers provide employment for 43,695 people across the city.

The awards ceremony will take place in November at the Riverside Museum in Glasgow, bringing together organisations from across Scotland to recognise and celebrate their commitment to fair work and the Living Wage.

Congratulations to Vascular Flow Technologies and Change Centre Dundee on this well-deserved recognition, and best of luck at the awards.

🎉 Another proud moment for Change Centre Dundee and the team!

We’re really pleased to share that we’ve been shortlisted for the Living Wage UK Scotland – Local Champion Award (Public & Third Sector).

We’re one of four finalists alongside Glasgow City Region Action Group, Live Borders and Scran Academy. Congratulations to everyone who has been shortlisted across the different categories.

Paying the Living Wage and creating opportunities for people to develop and progress is something we’re really proud of. We’re also very proud to be representing Dundee in this category at the awards in November.

A big thank you to the team who drive our 1% of Change ethos every day at the Centre. We now look forward to celebrating with all the finalists in Glasgow later this year! 🎉
