✨ Introducing our Senior Assistant, Lexi! ✨

Meet Lexi, one of our amazing Senior Assistants at the dance academy! 💕 Lexi has been dancing with Tori for the past 3 years, learning and developing her technique across different styles.

Her favourite style is lyrical, as she loves being able to express herself through movement and emotion. 🩰✨ Lexi especially loves helping our younger dancers learn their routines and steps, supporting them and watching their confidence grow.

One of the biggest things dance has taught Lexi is to be more confident when performing, and Tori continues to inspire her to keep going even when something feels challenging. 💪🏼

Looking ahead, Lexi hopes to gain experience within the dance industry and continue growing as a dancer. Her favourite dance memories are seeing all the hard work come together and performing it as a whole team. ❤️

We’re so proud to have Lexi as one of our Senior Assistants and can’t wait to see where her dancing takes her! 🌟

✨ MEET ELIZA — ONE OF OUR AMAZING JUNIOR ASSISTANTS ✨

Hi, my name is Eliza and I’m one of the Junior Assistants at TBDA! I’m 11 years old and I’ve been dancing for nearly 3 years. 🩰

I assist with Mini Ballet, Mini Street & Creative, and I’d describe my dance personality as bubbly, dramatic and fluid.

Dance has taught me that if I put my mind to something and never give up, I can 100% do it. Practice makes perfect!

🌎 My dream for the future:
When I’m older, I’d love to learn how to run a successful business within the dance world, travel the world dancing, or even go on tour like Tori, who inspires me so much.

My favourite moves: An up jack or the Harlem Shake!

💭 In Eliza’s own words:
“Dance to me is like the sun to a flower. Sure, the plant has its soil and rainwater, but the sun brightens its world and makes it bloom to show its true colours.” 🌻

We are so lucky to have a Junior Assistant as young as Eliza with so much passion and love for dance. Watching her grow in confidence, develop her skills and inspire our younger dancers is so special. ❤️

Eliza’s mum, Laura, says:

“I would say for us, dancing has given Eliza an identity, a sense of who she is and what she’s capable of. Dancing with you has built her confidence and given her a wee purpose in her week, week in, week out. Eliza will quite happily walk into a room anywhere and say, ‘Hi, my name’s Eliza and I’m a dancer.’ So thank you, Tori!”

Commercial workshop with 🫆 AMAZING FOR ANY DANCERS IN DUNDEE LOOKING TO GO INTO THE DANCE INDUSTRY!🔥

Principal at Dance Inc Studios and has worked internationally as a dancer, choreographer and teacher throughout China, Europe, Dubai, the USA and the UK. Her credits include artists such as Ms Dynamite, Fat Man Scoop and B.O.B, alongside major brands and events including Aston Martin, Porsche, BET Awards, Clarks, the Commonwealth Games and Aldi’s Halloween campaign, which she both choreographed and starred in. A familiar face within the dance scene in Scotland, this workshop is not one to miss! 💥
