Have to expect the unexpected when you're running through a field 🐑
Always good to mix up your route ⁉️
Let me know what unexpected things/ animals you spotted on your walk/run 🤔
The hills are humbling and so were the nettles!
I used to be at Camperdown pretty much every Saturday so it was great for testing my fitness and giving me a running goal.
If I don't run very often I can't expect to get much quicker but as long as when I do run I enjoy it and I don't get injured- then I'm happy
Maybe see you there next week?!
It's ok if you go to a class and can't do every single move
Naturally some will be easier than others based upon your experience and even body shape
The more you go the more it will feel normal to try new exercises and accept that somethings will feel easier than others
Keep persevering, even when it gets hard as that means it is challenging your body and helping to improve your overall health
I learn so much about my own body when I go to other people's classes - I don't compare myself to others and insteas remember how I felt when I did no exercise at all, which gets me through some of the tougher moments and I will confess that even if I'm enjoying it I am usually counting down the minutes to the end 🤣
Anyone else been to Splash & Glow yet?
Back to work but still finding the time for some fun - YOLO
Hopefully I'll have some pictures to share!

❌️ Myth Monday
🤔 "If I run - then it will ruin my knees"
Your knees are naturally great shock absorbers but unlike a car's shock absorbers they don't have a fixed shelf life.
Research suggests that running, walking and other weight bearing exercise can keep knees healthy as well as helping prevent osteoporosis.
If you have a knee ni**le after running it is most likely the development of an existing issue made noticeable by the running, but not the result of it.
Of course you don't have to run, but please don't let your knees be the reason not too. Learn to run with good form and increase mileage sensibly and who knows maybe I'll see you at a park(walk)run soon!
