Congratulations to our Player of the Week 🏆...

Richard has a powerful right foot and I'm glad I'm not in goal 🤣. Every time Richard scores, he lights up the room with his massive grin.

Did you know we also treat sporting injuries?

Dr Thomas especially has a passion and a wealth of knowledge. He is our FICS qualified sports chiropractor here in the clinic. He has worked with several sports teams and individual sports people helping them preform and feel better through chiropractic.

🌿 It's been a while... 🌿

First of all, we can only apologise for the lack of content on our page recently – it really isn't like us! The simple reason is that we've been incredibly busy out there trying to keep up!

June is always one of our busiest months, and this year has been no different. The month started with some challenging weather, with heavy rainfall causing delays, before temperatures quickly picked up. That combination has meant lawns have been growing at an incredible rate and w**ds have been appearing just as fast!

On top of our regular garden maintenance visits, we're also now moving into our summer pruning programme, with hedge and shrub pruning being slotted into days when the weather isn't suitable for grass cutting.

Despite the occasional weather setbacks, we're pleased to say that most of our customers are now on Visit 8 of 16, so we're still well on track for the season.

A huge thank you to all of our customers for your continued patience and support during the busiest part of the year – it's genuinely appreciated by all of us.

If you have any additional requests while we're visiting your property, whether it's hedge trimming, pruning, w**d treatments or anything else, don't hesitate to have a chat with Cammy or Dale when you see them, or get in touch with the office and we'll be happy to help.

Thank you again for your continued support – here's to a great second half of the season! 🌿

Ardler complex walking football club would like to say a huge THANK YOU to our sponsors
Absolute Chiropractic Dundee and
Darren Reid Gardening Services Ltd.
Our sponsors kindly donated our football kits for our big tournament in Glasgow but they also sponsored us enough that every group member received 2 t-shirts, 1 of each colour so we don't need to use bibs to define teams every week.
Absolute chiropractic also sponsored our hoodies.
I hope you agree that our team look fantastic in their t-shirts x

East Wards World Cup Activities 25/06/2026

Tomorrow, Walking Football Scotland will make history as our first-ever WFS National Team travels to Switzerland to compete in the second UEFA Walking Football EuroCup event in Nyon.

It is a landmark moment not only for the players selected, but for everyone who has played a part in the growth and development of walking football across Scotland over the past decade.

The squad represents clubs from across the country, each player proudly wearing the colours of their local team throughout the season. However, this week is different. This week they come together with one purpose – to represent Scotland on the international stage.

Every affiliated club, every volunteer, every coach, every referee and every player has contributed to this moment. The journey to Nyon is the result of years of dedication, passion and belief in the power of walking football to transform lives and bring communities together.

For many of our players, this will be the opportunity of a lifetime. To wear the Scotland badge, stand alongside fellow nations and represent our country in an official UEFA event is something that only a few years ago seemed impossible.

The significance of this moment stretches far beyond the nine players who will pull on the shirt. They carry with them the hopes and pride of the entire Scottish walking football community. They represent the thousands of people who take part in walking football every week, the hundreds of volunteers who give their time freely, and the remarkable growth of our game from grassroots sessions to international recognition.

As the team prepares to depart, we wish every player and member of the management team the very best of luck. We know they will represent Walking Football Scotland, their clubs and their country with pride, passion and distinction.

This is more than a team.

This is more than a tournament.

This is the next step in Scotland's walking football journey.
